The fact that Tempest didn’t have Adam come back in the room with Pete to make them think it was a tie only to have him hand the case over to Pete is damn crime!
Holy crap. After losing so many times and being away for the last one, Pete comes back strong. He smashed that hard. DAAAMMMNN congrats Pete!! Well deserved! Now to see how long his run will be
Adam didn’t “destroy” Sully. He won on a technicality. Sully got through the main list without any strikes, which was better than Adam did. So take your cheap victory Blampied, we all know who the true champion is….
The only thing I wish had happened differently- they should have made Adam sit at the table and brought Pete in to make them both think it’s going to another tiebreaker, right until Tempest says “You lost, Adam. Give Pete the briefcase.”.
That would be brilliant, I can imagine Adam and another person managing to go all the way and then Tempest says that they have to keep going through Roman’s other title defenses before his current reign
All his other title reigns have been pretty short though! I might be missing a couple but I think it's just -Braun (HIAC 2018) -Finn (Raw after Summerslam 2018) -Seth (where he lost at MITB 2016) -AJ -AJ And then his first two title reigns were like a day and a month long respectively
I feel so so so happy for Pete. Like irrationally happy lmao. He came so close so many times, hes never won this or quizzlemania so I'm really happy that he finally beat adam once and for all.
They just recreated the Bloodline Saga unknowingly. Tempest brought in Sean Ross Sapp(Cody) to end Adam's( Roman) reign of terror but he failed as it was Pete's(Jey) story always, he is the one who was supposed to beat him.
Let's not forget that Adam's final title defense before his false final boss was against a plucky, comedic ginger who he only beat on a technicality. Which is to say, Sully is Sami.
I love how sean no longer editing the lists on his site makes me think he continued editing it himself to make sure he was always ready for quizzlemania. Lol
Survival Series is by far the most entertaining wrestling related thing on the internet. I rarely lough loud on a video while watching it alone but man This gets me everytime NEVER STOP
There is something quite enjoyable about Adam losing his mind and being in denial of losing the survival series championship. Reminds me of cm punks rant when he lost the title to rock
It's in July and we just had 3 moments of the year: ⭐️ Owens/Zayn won tag title in the main event of WM ⭐️ Jey Usos pinned Roman Reigns ⭐️ Pete became Survival Series Champion
FUN FACT: There have been 177 US Title reigns. That's more than the WWE Championship, despite the WWE Championship being the much older belt. The fact that Pete got as far back as 2014 is a minor miracle. SO MANY meaningless title reigns, the belt was just mistreated for a long time, and arguably still is. (Can we get it off Theory please, he's doing nothing with it).
My mind is a jumble mess with past WWE U.S. Champions in reverse chronological order. I can only remember certain wrestlers who held it while others were just transitional/forgetful. Thanks for the Bandit Keith America memes, and congratulations to Pete for winning for the first time.
That Sheamus vs. Rusev match is an interesting one for the history books because it is in fact the only post-RAW WWE Network exclusive match to my knowledge.
This series has become my favorite out of all the WrestleTalk universe shows. Everyone's hilarity seems kicked up a notch for these. Also whoever edits these needs a raise. The Half Baked insert popped me.
