Missed you guys! Sorry for the delay. We'll have more soon. The Glowing Sea, along with Solstheim (Skyrim Dragonborn DLC) will both exist as mini-series within the larger region locked series on the channel, so titles will have to change a bit for those! This is definitely a change in pace/tone from previous entries so I hope you all enjoy! Twitch - twitch.tv/joov__ VOD Channel - ru-vid.com/show-UC5nJPJLD9l1TAI1H4ZPWzBw
I am so happy to finally find a good RU-vidr who doesn't feel the need to clickbait viewers and fill their channel with degeneracy and disgust. and you're funny, of course my approval is invalid 👏🏻😂
I loved the Idiot Savant perk, went from level 33 to 37 doing one quest and gave me massiveeeeeeee boosts when I actually started getting into the main storyline. Fallout 4 is an awesome game.
I beat the game and wanted to try a child of atom run focusing on rad resistance along with many other endurance perks. Went 10/10 int and although stacking that with the increases due to the helm from Far Harbor that increases your int further based on how much rad you have. Consistent xp but man, hearing that and seeing it in action has me reconsidering my choices. 😂😅
I was really disappointed at first when the episode came to an end because it felt like the journey had just begun, then you said this was a multi-part episode and I was so happy! I've only just recently found your channel but I love your content so much I've already binged like90% of your videos. Keep up the great work Joob
AHAHAHA!!!! IDK why I found this so funny! (6:20) You want to hear something REALLY wild? The U.S. Govt. actually has an ACTUAL abandoned nuclear launch facility just like the Sentinel Launch Site Pyramid. Look it up! Sheer Craziness...
I just love how the protagnoist character from the bygone era straight off the ice struts naked into the radiated wasteland to dodge lazers and suckerpunch bloatflies with such determination
For real she just walked out that vault like "Pathetic, give me a real challenge" and through sheer force of will warped to the most dangerous locale in the land and still it could not defeat her mighty might ass.
The glowing sea is actually a really cool location to explore. First of all its where the bombs initially hit, the neighborhood is litterly wiped from the map. And second of all the locations that are still standing (for what its worth) like the Red Rocket truck stop gave me such an apocalyptic vibe with the radiation rain. And secret goverment bases like the Sentinel Site are also located there. Barely anyone explores these locations since its dangerous and high level enemies can kill the player in a single hit but its worth it to explore.
Joov has a nice taste in tracks. The recap part of this video brought back so many memories! It’s the China faction theme from Battlefield 2, haven’t heard that song in years.
You know what would be cool? A mod for fo4 that changed the map so it didn’t show where you are. So the map would be more accurate. Even though a pip boy definitely has a built in gps.
@@bucketts6148 to be fair, GPS is only going to work if there are operational satellites or radio towers that can triangulate your position. It's fair to assume that by this time in the game, there aren't any.
i thought i knew the game enough but then i installed a mod that disabled the map and i turned off the compass in the ini files....long story short i didn't know the map as well as i thought i did. its easy to get lost.
I find it more entertaining to imagine this version of Nora before the war. A lawyer with very little intelligence and charisma; but they passed the bar. They deadlifted the bar, and their best legal defense for any client is to challenge the other lawyer to a bareknuckle duel to the death.
lol, I so enjoyed watching this video. Having placed FO4 for literally thousands of hours both modded and unmodded, it's fun to see a unique and novel approach to playing the game that isn't strictly mission oriented or another boring walkthrough. Looking forward to watching more of this "Without Leaving" series!
There’s some older backlog ones if your interested! This is only the 2nd FO4 one I’ve done but I plan on following this up soon after starting an adjacent series in Solstheim
Watching you panic and put yourself in a barebones scenario like this was really exciting. I totally started thinking about what junk would be the most important to not sell to get rad away
While we don't face many Deathclaws in this part, they will certainly appear! I wasn't expecting the Glowing Sea to turn into what it did, or to be as much fun as it was. I fell in love after the sequence toward the end of this video
Something that would've saved you a good chunk of time, the Mother at the Children of Atom passively absorbs your rads when you stand near her. Glory onto Atom!
i tried to send a love letter to Saint Mildrew Beesparkle, but now i am stuck in Limbo, running for eternity from what i assume is his form of "love" .
I play too many games and some of things I do just to drag out the game and tasks like these are always lit. I did a fisher Skyrim cooker build and the Lakes were my highways
Funnily enough, the Chemist perk is actually better for stimpacks and radaways (as well as boosting other chems and food effects duration) than the medic perk is. I'm sure you've already finished this challenge but it's good info for those out there, especially if you're playing on survival.
I loved the city ones and was honestly on the fence about it being zone based but this turned out to be the best of the series so far in my opinion. Wow. Super interesting, feels almost like a side-mode or game with how you have to play!
The amount of work you put into this is phenomenal. The gameplay. The story telling and the editing (if you hired an editor they did an awesome job) most people don’t put that much effort into there content and creations but I can tell that you put a lot of work into this and as a viewer I appreciate that. Definitely subbing. I look forward too more content like this
This is (imo) one of your absolute best videos. Your magnum opus; your Homer's Odyssey. I liked your series on region locking to cities, but I loved this. The element of the challenge, your narration and the editing quality of this video in particular, make this video one of your best. I hope you continue to take your channel to new heights and in this challenge run direction. Bravo, Joov. Bravo.
Challenges like this are alot of fun because its very hard in the beginning but once you build momentum you start to feel so powerful. Its kinda how survival felt the first time I played.
Is that intro music from Medal of Honor Frontline? If so, that was a childhood favorite when I was 7 back in 2002! It really got me interested in American history and WW2!
I started my newest playthrough out in the glowing sea with almost no supplies with the goal of exploring the entire glowing sea before I could leave for the commonwealth. It was the most intense but also fun I've had since I got the game.
I hope you do more multi-part series of these. I love your 'Can You' series a whole lot and how much you manage to put in a whole video but multi-parts with things as in depth as this is beautiful. The one thing I was thinking of while watching as I now watch the VODs, Far Harbour!
Something you can do to save money: Fusion cores always sell for the same price no matter how low they are. If you time it right, you can exit your armor just before the core dies and sell it to a trader. They will give the same price for a full one as they will an empty one. Its a great way to profit from something virtually useless to you.
@@SomeOne-vf1rs The lower your INT the higher the chance that you'll get an XP multiplier, but it also lowers the base amount of XP that is being multiplied. So it's not as simple as higher chance = more XP, you have to take the base XP into account as well. Average expected XP = (1 + probability of bonus XP) x base XP. If you calculate the average expected XP for every possible INT (and people have), the maximum is at 2 INT. I can't remember the exact value involved off the top of my head, but I'm sure they're easy enough to find. Probably on a wiki page for Idiot Savant.
also a little trick I used to do, if you don't already, use fusion cores til they're at like 2%, then sell them. They're still as valuable as always at 2%
Bro i cannot tell you how happy it makes me to watch your videos. Your charisma and infectious positive attitude is an inspiration. See you laugh, cry, sigh and rejoice at surviving these challenges really puts a big smile on my face and brightens my day. You truly live these games intensely and that makes your content so much more enjoyable. Here is my Radaway (like) to help you on your journey through that horrible place. :)
I've been looking forward to this. I watched the recorded VODs on Twitch because I can't make the livestream, and it's definitely some of your best content yet.
As a creator I was pretty bummed about the delay. As a gamer of course it's always a welcome thing. I absolutely cannot wait to do stupid thing in Starfield
@@Joov When someone mentioned the delay I thought "What? Probably just a troll" Googled it ... :,( but better than leaving broken with a bunch of cut content I guess
this was such an excellent video. A genuine piece of brilliant videography (i looked at a thesaurus for that one). Great vid, for the best place in a meh game
Love the video, I had tried this with mods awhile ago, only venturing out for the automated power armor from the creation club, it was rough going. Eventually I found a different mod that has automated power armor but that’s beside the point. I remember doing much the same route, hiding in the sunken red rocket with my raider power armor and the BFG in my hands contemplating my next move (creation club again). Looking forward to part 2 and love the sprinkling of Mercenaries music at the end.
For anyone wanting to know the Intro song. It's from a game called Medal Of Honor Frontline, a world War 2 game from 2002. The track is called Manor House Ralley. A good oldie, id check if you get the chance.
A heck of a journey from the 8,000 subs I started watching at! I’m looking forward to part 2. This challenge is my favorite of the series! Very intense!
@@malcolmzeller5080 I mean the children of atom are there, but they just exist. They serve no other purpose than to lead you to Virgil. The Sentinel Site is the only interesting area to me and it’s story related.
you know what's the most fallout thing ever... shooting down a hoard of ferals with a mini gun in power armor with wanderer playing in the back round while in the glowing sea
“This is because of equality, and not because of Nora’s dumptruck ass” literally all of us when we choose to play as the female character over the male
One interesting thing about fusion cores is they don't change value from discharging. So you could leave the power armor with the core at 0%, but before they are replaced (so basically
The Blood Dragon Theme just fits so perfectly, because the apocolypse has had an apocolypse in Fallout. ...And you had the opportunity, to take Nate and name him Rex Power Colt and you didn't do it. Aren't there even Mods on the Nexus, that allow you to have robotic limbs and stuff like that? Perfect for such a run.
Remember watching the first stream and probably this was one of the coolest things I’ve seen come out of fallout 4, not a big fan of 4 but this was so intriguing.
