I appreciate how multi-dimensional and thoughtful you are about life. Not everyone presents themselves that way online. Usually one-track minded on a soap box. Cheers.
It’s funny how the Bible never said or asked for us to go out into the world to prove the existence of God. The Bible said to go out and share our faith not just by our words but by our actions, by our love for one another, and by how we love and treat our enemies.
What if someone never learns about any kind of religion. Like a tribe out in the middle of nowhere with no modern technology. What happens to them when they die? they never even had a chance to believe or not believe

@@MegaDudeman21 Yeah I always found it suspicious that the only people who believe in the Christian faith specifically are ones who have already been told about or exposed to it in some way or another. No one has ever "found" Jesus on their own, without prior knowledge. They first have to be told about him in some capacity. Hence why you find no isolated tribes who miraculously are Christians. You'd think if this religion was the be all and end all, that you would be able to come to the same conclusion as everyone else on your own, internally, without external interference. This applies to every religion of course, just using Christianity as the example.

Keeping in mind the bible does not address any of this, on account of the fact that we knew nothing of evolution or the millenia of human existence when the bible was written. Which brings up another point...
Mad respect my dude. Always keep an open mind and remember, just when we think we have things figured out, that's when we realize the game of life just increased the anty! Life is suppose to be a mixture of emotions but absolute certainty isn't one of them.

LOVE this conversation Stevie. You said you were waiting for a convincing argument to make you at least consider it- try this. Part of why science is important is because you’re supposed to be able to do an experiment, get a result, and repeat that process in order to confirm that your hypothesis is correct. There is not a single example of life being born from something not alive in the history of human existence. LIFE can’t come from nothingness, if it were possible it’d be at the forefront of this argument. But it isn’t. Science says we came from the Big Bang, I say, if that’s true, what drove the Big Bang, because it can’t be nothingness. That’s not a pertinent answer according to the standards of science. Much love Knight 👌🏾
@@lawrencehaynes6408 that’s the point, God IS the start from which this all spurred. I’m not talking about any specific religion, because I can admit there’s grey area there. But one cannot preach about science and evidence and then attempt to hold the Big Bang as more credible than creation. By the definition of the word, it’s literally not more credible.
@lawrencehaynes6408 you misunderstand those words. God says all things under him are his creation. But God Himself, being the creator, was NOT created. He simply does the creating. The argument being made here is, lest we forget, based off of ONLY what we THINK we understand and NOT the Word of the Father. The implications behind Mind this are surmountable in contrast with God's Word. That said, the simple answer to your question is "nobody" created God because God is the creator. Simplified and personified. Now this differes on a purely human scale because we cannot create something where there was once nothing. All things have a history in regards to our understanding of creation on Earth by Man.
For those curious, the initial ideas surrounding the Big Bang Theory can be traced back to two key figures, The more widely known Edwin Hubble, and primarily the unknown Georges Lemaître, who also happens to have been not just a Catholic Priest, but a physicist, mathemetician and astronomer, and he developed the groundwork for Hubble's law 2 years before Hubble himself. People often forget some of the greatest scientific minds in history were also deeply religious.
@@rebeca3284 not necessarily the main issue in contention is sourcing where it came from - both God and a big bang can coexist. The big bang cannot coexist without God because it would be irrational.
@@nobodyknowsforsure Fair point. For my own personal sake, if I were to believe in both God & the big bang simultaneously, then that would render credit to a harmonious Earth out of chaos, which the big bang theorizes. Don't see how chaos can create such beautiful harmony, like the day and the night, always constant. Just like a developing baby, how it forms from a tiny cell into an intellectual being, always the same biological anatomy, never into endless, different, chaotic possibilities. If I render credit to the big bang, then I would have to accept the notion of evolution, from monkey to human... that one for me personally is a big stretch to believe in. Creation proves the creator, if you had no idea what a computer was and found one in the middle of the forest you would be a fool to assume it had evolved naturally over thousands or millions of years, a human is magnitudes more complex than a computer
Let's accept your argument and say God exists and creation proves it. I've got some curiosity questions. If life doesn't exist anywhere else, does that mean God's powers are only good enough to manage one planet? Why is there so much lifelessness in the universe and we're the only speck with life? Did all life on other planets kill itself somehow? If life existed on another planet, would that mean there's a second God in control of that planet, or did God get bored and want another planet? Is the whole universe just for us?
that's a logical fallacy because we all know how a computer is made whether you do or do not know what is a computer is irrelevant because the concept itself requires human intervention, but with the universe no one knows how its made nor does anyone actually understand the concept so any assumptions require proof.
I respect this too, however the law of conservation of mass states that matter is neither created nor destroyed. It just changes form. So technically there was no creation? It simply “was and has been” forever.

And if that is true , there has to be a counter .. and that's God. Since I started looking at the world that way, it makes much more sense ... And I'm actually a lot happier and have less anxiety.
Adding my 2¢'s here😅.. If you watch movies, entertainment, ect.. these venues will always reference phrases, or people of the Bible most of the time in a negative way. Which begs the question, WHY? If the Bible and it's teachings were not true, why do these media venues go through all that effort to blasphemy the Bible and it's teachings. The only logical answer is that the Holy Bible is true, and these entertainment venues are actively cementing negativity in our minds and spirit. For example the word Holy, which means goodness, or righteousness, will often be joined with another word that is negative.

Religion is still a cause of so much death and destruction and suffering in this world. Lets rise above our past explanations for things, and live in this new world with peace for our fellow humans.

Why do creationists always use this argument? The Theory of the Big Bang does not state that there was "nothing" before, as we have no examples of "nothing" to work with. There is always something, even in a complete vacuum. Scientists currently do not know what things looked like before the expansion event of the Big Bang, but they do not claim there was "nothing". Perhaps the universe has always existed, in some form or another. There are people actively trying to figure this out as we speak. It could be anything, from thousands of other potential gods to advanced alien beings or civilisations. Creationists like to believe there are only two options, that if science is wrong then they must be right, but there are so many other possibilities to contend with. People from the West are indeed aware of Islam. Ricky is British and lives in North London. There's a lot of Muslims all around the UK and especially in London. He's well aware that no person alive today was alive over a thousand years ago to observe the actual sequence of events that took place meaning everything relies on the hearsay of scripture and their own subjective interpretation of it.
Either something came from nothing or it was created from God who has always existed. The question really is is it more possible that something came from nothing or God has always existed.
Hey Knight, I hope you see this. This specific book COMPLETELY flipped my views and made me start believing in the existence of god. Its Called "Believing Is Seeing: A Physicist Explains How Science Shattered His Atheism and Revealed the Necessity of Faith." By Michael Guillen. I was like you. I wanted proof. If you truly want some CONCRETE PROOF. This book will absolutely do that for you. The author has 3 doctorates at Harvard and Yale. So he's very well informed. I would put him up against ANY debater. Look into the book or watch some videos on him. I don't really even like reading and I couldn't put this book down. My jaw was dropped the entire time reading it.
No lie, I gave my life to the lord on Christmas 2022, and I was baptized Easter 2023. I've never experienced anything like the feeling of the holy spirit in my body, God has brought me what I've always asked for, something I never could have achieved when I was a non believer, and that's peace
For me being an agnostic. I just stop at I don’t know. Imagine at some point there were two people talking about this subject. One of them says I don’t know and keeps walking the other one sits down and creates a story to fill the gap of I don’t know. But in the end, neither one of us know, one of us just has a story. And when the other one doesn’t believe in the story, it makes the story seem that much more ridiculous. Similar to vaccines and masks.
I hover on the edge of belief in God. It started off with the understanding that the universe cant have just poofed into existence. After studying parts of the bible I came to understand that the book has a multi-generational wisdom that would be exceptionally difficult for humans to compile into a book (especially considering that the only literate people at the onset of Christianity did their best to quash it). And another thing is that those who live by the teachings of the bible live healthier more fulfilling lives. Stevie you actually live more by the bible than you know.
@@ambermshana9863 why is it that islamic states still seek to eradicate heretics. Christianity went through that with them during the crusades but they stopped after the church started losing influence. What fuels the hatred needed to condemn an entire people? I understand that there are extemists everywhere but islam is the only abrahamic religion that supposedly inspires terrorism.
@@nobodyknowsforsure Smartest people on the planet that holds a big chunck of noble awards were religious , but hey " it just happened for building that system and for nothing " truly makes more sense right
I once read a statement involving this particular topic: If I'm wrong about God, then I wasted my life. If you're wrong about God, then you wasted your eternity. - Lecrae. I love the videos man, thank so much for the reactions and your unapologetic real view on things. Keep it up!
@@30noir you don't have morals w/o God, Christopher Hitchens vs Douglas Wilson "Is Christianity Good For the World" and Hitchens never answers Douglas. Even Dawkins admits there are no atheistic foundations for morality. Stop the idiocy please.
@@l.ronhubbard5445 Apologies, but I believe there already is a book with all of this information readily available. Please see any copy of the Holy Bible for your answer. You should find a great deal of information in regards to your query there.
The difference in foundation is important because recharging is important. Its a sense of redirection especially when you feel lost. Plus you dont see air but air exists. And its something you need
Who said that you need to see it? You can measure air in all sorts of ways other than sight. And why would you care what foundation people use to recharge and redirect themselves in life? Some people might use a belief in a god to redirect them and others might use another type of goal or a sense of purpose to redirect themselves and it might work even better than a god. Why would you want to ruin that?
I spent 4yrs falling from the faith and in the atheist position and I learned it's the most illogical position a person can have. They always want to say "Occam's Razor, Occam's Razor" however, they themselves reject the most simplest explanation as well as logical conclusions based on observation. We observe life coming from life and intelligence coming from intelligence on a daily basis. So, applying Occam's Razor as well as logic one should be concluding that intelligent life came from intelligent life. So, to claim that no one can know, when evidence points to the contrary and shows there is a God is a rejection of the evidence that reveals this existence is by intelligent design. You also have no OBJECTIVE morality without a law giver. You can't use man as a law giver because man can have difference in opinion regarding morality which would make it subjective. Either child abuse is OBJECTIVELY wrong or it's only subjectively wrong (wrong for some people, but, perfectly okay and not immoral for others). There's tons of arguments and logical reasoning that PROVES God exists. "I'm never going to use emotion". Valid reasoning requires a balance between emotion and logic. We are humans with emotions, including empathy, if you remove emotion from reasoning then people can form a valid argument that the genocide of mentally ill people is more beneficial for humanity if you base your reasoning strictly on "logic" void of emotion. (I've literally argued with atheists about this very issue when I was an atheist). I would say valid reasoning includes both logic and emotion. A balance between the two.
I don't believe you were ever an atheist. You can't go back from that kind of understanding. It would be like an adult deciding that the tooth fairy and easter bunny really do exist after all when he reached 40 years of age.
@@30noir Yea it's so satisfying to think it's all pointless/meaningless and that you're the brave one staring death in the face w/ some steely eyed gaze, ready to meet your end w/ dignity.... Please... What a dumbass world view atheism is, can't stand it. All we ever got out of it was eugenics, which did a whole lot of good for society I'm sure... I think if you believe you're the product of random chance and every idea that comes out of your mouth has no more objective significance than the sound of wind moving through trees you should just stop talking. Be the random chemical reactions/electrical activity between synapses in the brain you think you are, do all the random pointless/meaningless things you're inclined to do till you pass on and stop spreading your mental disease.
Your simple explanation isn't actually that simple because now you need to explain why intelligent life comes from intelligent life until you get to God where you now have the impossible task of explaining something so complex it's unexplainable. How can God always have exisedt?
Some people confuse atheism as an assertion that God doesn't exist. Theists and atheists are in the same boat. Nobody knows for certain, one believes and one doesn't.
I 100 percent believe in God. I also believe science does not disprove god. Instead it explains some of the ways in which he works. I also see the beauty and wonder in the world and that only furthers my belief. At the same time I'm okay with other people not believing in him. I believe God will forgive them and accept them as they are as long as they were good people in life. I believe even an atheist can get into heaven.
Question to anyone in the comments that do not believe there is a God. Q: Does dark matter exist? If it does, prove it. Now apply all that science has used to prove the existence of dark matter to this debate.
A big misconception is that you choose to believe anything. You believe the most likely thing to be true from your perspective. Real faith in God is a gift, and even those who claim to have it may not have it truly.
I mean this was the Stevie fight. This guy was absolutely dogshit. And the other guy was like chase still shit but didn't have competition to begin with. How about he actually takes on someone who probably knows a verse.
I'm an atheist and not one person has conviced me that God exist outside from a scripture from the Bible. Using the "look around you" excuse as a way of proving something exist is a fallacy. If God does exist, I think he has a lot of explaining to do for allowing so much evil and crudeness in this world.
@@miahhunter4010 It's not that simple at all cause if it was I would believe lol God is just as evil as the devil for allowing evil to run free. God & Satan are one of the same cause without the devil he would have no purpose of existing and you wouldn't worship him. When you worship God you basically are worshiping the devil.
@@MrTambourineMan. I'm a full blown atheist, I do not believe in a creator or an adversary at all. I believe good and evil comes from humans itself and when we die we will go in the dirt and lights out completely. And afterlife makes no sense to me.
@@blackmetalhead5883 well that’s exactly why you’re an atheist lol. To lump God and the devil as one is completely blasphemous. God gave us free will to worship him because he died for our sins not because the devil exists. Just like people choose to solely worship the devil. I just think if you automatically associate God with the negative nobody is gonna “convince”you. It honestly is simple you just have to have an open mind and stop shutting everything down.
The argument of "you don't believe in _n_ amount of gods", I just don't believe in one more" is a strawman fallacy. Christians like Stephen Colbert believe there can only be one God. So they are not atheists regarding the other gods, they just don't believe they are divine. To make this argument even stupider, they don't even necessarily don't believe that these gods don't exist. The apostle Paul, among other important men in Christianity said that these gods actually exist, but they are demons or were powerful heroes of the past who accomplished great feats and started to be worshipped as gods.
Their has to be a "something" out there because, think about it. How is it possible that a baby is closed in a sack of liquid inside their mothers stomach not being able to breath for 9 long months, but once its born if a splash of water covers its face or your hand is over their face too long then they're gasping for air? 🤔 All i'm saying is, If anything block our nose or mouth from breathing for a minimum of 5 min, Then we are going nuts But we've been enclosed inside a belly for 9 months not being able to breath on our own. Its a miracle right. ✨️ idk its something to concider. 🤷♀️ Love your channel ❤️ 👍🏼
In the womb the baby's blood is oxygenated via the placenta and the umbilical cord. It doesn't matter if the baby has amniotic fluid in its lungs, because it's not technically breathing yet. Just google how to babies breath. It's not a mystery or miracle, all mammals do it before being born.
@@sergiopita5117 I understand what you're saying and I knew that someone would bring that up. But when you think of life in itself and the creation of life and its process. It's so incredibly unfathomable. I know the umbilical cord helps the baby breath, but even that initself is incredible. A person carrying another being inside them with a separate heartbeat of there own. It's mind blowing. There has to be a higher something. They keep calling it super natural? Which means even the mind can't conceive and truly understand it, so everyone is coming up with their theory of how life began or whether theres a God or not, or how we all were created and they still can't figure it out religiously and scientifically. I'm setting here breathing, it's a miracle. Thanks for your reply 😊💕
@@sergiopita5117 yes because God is not the author of confusion...so they had to b an umblicord which makes sense for the passage of oxygen and food🤷🏿♂️ truth is God only allows us to know what he wants to know but for other things U will never figure it out
I really respect you for sharing where you stand. So a couple points: 1) When you are talking about God you can not use logic or reason. This bothers a lot of people. 2) Faith is exactly that believing without seeing, so there will never be any real hard science. The only time we will see proof will be when the antichrist comes because he will preform false miracles, signs, and wonders. All I can do is show you love man and you have to come to the conclusion of what you believe. Bless you and your wonderful family and have a good week Stevie.
As a logical person I don't get how it's hard for people to grasp. By the laws of logic you are boxed in - there is no logic of nothing just spontaneously creating, that is BS. To logically solve that problem it makes perfect sense that a being that is not bound by those logical limitations could exist (God). I'm not even saying which religion is 'right', I don't know but to logically solve the universe existing and the creation point issue a no limit God fulfills this.
@@nobodyknowsforsure that's tough! And to add on the God of the bible literally says your thoughts are not my thoughts.... meaning we are not on God's level to understand certain things, our logical reasoning is rendered useless and like the other guy said when U r talking about it's about faith
Everything you said is pretty much exactly how I think about these things. I’ve had crazy hyped up zealot coworkers try to convince me of things but I just tell them I don’t care what they think. He used get big mad. He got fired for yelling at chef 🤣 I was born Christian.. I would hear him out for a little bit, but he was a conspiracy theorist tell. Dude told me the moon is a battery. I said can I charge my phone with it?
I'm not a Christian because I was raised that way, which I was. I'm a Christian because I was at a place in my life where my faith just wasn't reasonable. Until I decided to learn more, I researched both sides, science and Judeo-Christian beliefs and other religions. BUT! That was my path, my fight, my life-changing moment. Everyone has to come to God in their own way. Not religion, just relationship!
Overall I really liked this video, the only unfortunate thing is that everytime we talked about how science is consistent and stays the same I think of all the "science" that has been done in the past few years, from the 105 new genders to the control that the government was trying to gain through Covid denying things like natural immunity Unfortunately the "sciences" in the last 5-10 years has become its own religion within many organizations, even if science itself has remained the same. I wish I did not have to become so jaded but this is the world we are living in You did a great job in this video though outlining your thoughts, I am a Christian and believe there is no science disproving or proving the existence of God. I respect that you have at least thought out your ideals.
LOL science didn't make new genders. Science says there are 2 sexes. The people saying there's lots of genders have literally nothing to do with science. Science is about objective reality, that is really what it is the study of. Educate yourself.
It is good to have this conversion, it help the mind think a little. Im in my feelings on this 1, i dont know why. Im from 3rd world country and growing up in the bibical world is all i know. I think the more tge world goes on the more its disconnect. More stuff feed to our brain is the more we numb.
"Why is irrelevant." true. However, design, which is clearly seen in the universe, implies a designer. We could stand in a building. The why is irrelevant, yet the how it is built would show the order and intricate design needed to create the building. The building implies a builder, even if you cannot prove the existence of the builder. This conclusion should bring you to theism, or at least deism. You cannot say the builder doesn't exist just because you cannot personally see them. Reality does not allow that option.
Claiming the universe is designed is just a bald assertion. You don’t get to call it a design until you actually demonstrate that claim. We know a building is designed because every single piece of evidence we have of buildings, is that they were built and designed by people. And we have zero evidence of buildings occurring naturally. Things like people, planets, galaxies etc are things that occur naturally. We have zero evidence of those things being built and designed by a “creator”. You’re just making the watchmaker argument, which has been debunked over and over again. But if you have evidence of a creator designing a universe, I would love to hear it.
You fail to understand the concept of “burden or proof.” The burden of proof isn’t on the atheist, because the atheist is not the one making the claim. That would be equivalent to saying, “well you can’t prove that there aren’t invisible ice cream factories on Mars, therefore there are.”
@@csmkorn1 The burdern of proof is on BOTH. BOTH parties have made a claim by default. Both have chosen a different polarity. One claims a negative, the other claims a positive. The negative can NEVER be proved by the very evidence of how the world has worked since we woke up. Nothing has NEVER turned into something. And inorganic matter has NEVER turned into organic matter or life. WE ALL experience this truth. EVERYTHING around us that shows intelligent design can only come from input of an intelligent creator. By that same logic, the universe and it's intricacies, and life, and the laws that govern the world could not come from ''nothing''. The system is too intricate and comes down to millions of decimal places, for all variable to allign to allow life on our planet.
@@csmkorn1 so someone has a book about ice cream on Mars and its being called into question whether thats true or not... Try again. If your gonna try to justify someone belief based on opinions and hypothesis. And then com out the air with some way of comparing that makes no since.
