You CAN continue to tow with your truck after you lower it. Obviously depending on how low you’re actually going.
This RAM 1500 has a MaxTrac 2/4 drop and with the help of the Air Lift 1000’s, it’s as if it’s not lowered at all.
My trailer weighs about 4000 lbs and has about 2000lbs inside of it. It towed it like it used to at stock height.
I wouldn’t recommend towing with out the bags.

Mine is is set up exactly like yours with the same air bags and a beltech 2-4 kit. Mine has the factory tow control slide and I tow a 3,000 pound boat and it works just fine.

I ordered mine today, but I am worried that since the springs are significantly lower than the factory ones, which is what the bags were designed for, that it would cause issues whether it's in the near future, or immediately. Let me know what you think!

I was too, the reason why I waited so long to install the 2/4 drop. But with the bags, it’s like stock, you always need 5-8lbs in at all times. I check every couple weeks or so, when it’s hot or cold, they may need a little more air. No issues at all so far.

Ordered Trekline no cut relocation brackets to correct my pinion angle and my rear control arms. Pushed my axle back over an inch. Now I have to get core 4x4 adjustable control arms. 🤦‍♂️😩. If anyone is going to do relocation brackets DO NOT get the trekline ones unless you already have adjustable control arms.
