Very interesting video I have an old lightning F2, 250 lts volume I wondered if having the dagger board down would give stability when paddle boarding.
this is good for equilibrium, try a surfboard posture with spreaded legs and centre of gravity to the pelvis (removing the backpack), once you gain speed it holds ok but diy outriggers with bottles would help
We are going to try out a 12’ long, 26.5 inch wide one. We are experienced with proper SUPs, so hopefully my lighter family member will do well with it
Thank you. That is most informative. I'm looking to make a silly Frankenstein electric outboard powered craft and this shows me I need a lot of litres.
I have a late ’80s Obrien sailboard. I am going to try paddling it this year. It is longer and wider than any of the boards you try here and I suspect it will work OK. I wonder in fact if the center board will make it easier to hold a straight line.
I had reverse problem - can you windsurf on an ISUP - so my solution was this - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GqDd5HW-MLY.html - ohhh....that lagoon looks a bit cold!!
