Never imagined that these videos would be the start of a multi million dollar business. ANYBODY can do it and I want to show you how in my Free 1 Hour Training: lostcreatoracademy.com/freetraining
I was in Dubai between May 17 and May 30. First time, Solo traveler and I also met up with a local internet friend. Ramadan was a challenge but eating at the malls was the easiest thing to do during the day since they always have an area sectioned off. This has been my favorite city, by far. So clean, so safe and so modern!! I'm just starting a travel channel so I hope to share my adventures soon. I enjoyed seeing your video. Brought back all my happy memories!!
I hope you can be with Khalid Al Ameri. He is an Emirati who loves sharing his culture with everyone! He has a channel in RU-vid (The Al Ameris) and a facebook fanpage. I hope you had a chance to meet him while you are still in Dubai! Enjoy the warmth and love of the UAE! May God bless you and continue to inspire others!
We arrived here in Malaysia 2 days before Ramadan ended and I must admit unless you were in a shopping centre where the food courts are it was a little hard to find a restaurant that was open! We are hoping to go to Dubai in the future it looks so beautiful and a must see in our lifetime!
I wish u could meet the real locals , to know more about Arab hospitality One More thing , if u have money then u can buy Code A number there is no it’s not wasta thing for this code
I’m sorry that you didn’t meet real local Emirati ppl, if you coming later you should visit on January and February, first we have no tradition called shesha, local guys wear different clothes than jeans, all what you ate is fast Indian food , so many places you have missed I’m sorry , nothing you experienced was Dubai or Emirati
You should do this much more often man, also haven't seen a lot of African countries on your channel, it is easy to stay in SE Asia since it's so chill, but it does get a little repetitive sometimes. Just my two cents, great video
You are so respectful of their culture. This is a great travel video, not the regular "youtuber" video about beaches and more beaches..this video is elegant
Andrew T.K.T Pawlowski and the funny thing, Bali was like the mainstream thing in 92-98 and then went off the radar after being like Canary Islands in Spain. Now suddenly Bali is in again :)
Dubai is the place where I met my wife for the first time,Its beautiful and amazing, and I cherrish it even more because of her,for this reason I will be grateful and will visit it all our life! I don’t have words to describe my feelings for Dubai! Few years ago I never even dreamed about seeing this place ,I thought it will be impossible for me to reach there,or even more far away,Philippines! But love pull out the best of us,so I get to visit it 3 times in one and a half years, and more to come. And every time I visit, there’s always something new to me! Thank you LeBlanc for showing people like me that Dubai can be affordable for anyone. It really is worth seeing it,at least once in a lifetime!
I’ve been to Dubai during Ramadan and just wait till sun down..to eat.. get small snacks from the grocery store and the whole city breaks their fast and it was so beautiful the food is the best I’ve ever had
Nothing boastful but to be real I've watched so many travel and adventure vlogs. I don't know why yours become so different, in the sense that you catch my attention and I don't even do fast forwarding. So great.
I went to UAE during Ramadan and almost got in trouble for walking out in public drinking iced tea. Oops! The security guard was really nice and he just told me I have to throw it away or finish it. That’s crazy that it’s $100 to go to the 125th floor. In Seoul, Lotte World Tower is only $25 USD and it’s 123 floors.
Hi Christian! I've watched almost all your videos and have been following you since last year. I was working in one of the Big 4 Firms as well. Quit recently but have not have the courage to travel around the world by buying one way ticket like you did previously. Hope I have similar courage as you one day to do what I love as well. Happy Vlogging and travelling!

Wow I traveled to Dubai during Ramadan as well. Reminded me of my trip. Hope you enjoyed! Really glad to see some fellow westerners making their way out there! : )
Im surprised you explained the culture very well! Usually for me ramadan is the hardest time in middle east to go around not to mention thats the hottest time of the year. But you manage it very well im impressed! You did well on your research!👏🏼👏🏼 those were the basic information yet important stuff for travelers to know before coming here! Good job leblanc!
The food is amazing. The culture is exquisite. The people will make you question all your previous beliefs. I was engaged to a Moroccan. He was absolutely amazing! Yet he stayed in Europe and I in America!
I went to Dubai last summer 2017 during ramadan for my 18th birthday and it was such a new experience. I have never experienced humidity before and it was intense there. Also a lot of food places and stores are open during night due to the heat during the day! So the night life is pretty alive. Hoped Dubai treated you well too ! Greetings from California
I loved your vlog! Dubai remained me Egypt (sure it's way more developed) but cultural part is pretty similar. I used to live there before and now I know how much I miss it☀😍🙈
I challenge u to make it video about Ramadhan until eid mubarak in Indonesia next year. So many tradition, Culinary, you can't found in the other place. Thumbs up for your video... 👍👍👍
Glad to see we've been criss-crossing the globe in almost around the same time Chris. We were on the MSC Seaside in April & did the same Eastern Caribbean cruise as you did. I'm also a big fan of Cebu Pacific & has flown the Dubai route with them on quite a few occasions. Best of all, you visited Dubai, my homebase. Hope we cross paths one of these days! My next stop is the Norwegian fjords, coming up in 2 months from now!
Your tour guides were amazing. You experienced Dubai as someone that was born and raised there. The shawarma, the karak chai, everything. Every time I watch a vlog on Dubai, people only focus on experiencing the posh lifestyle and never venture into old Dubai. Love that you covered the true side of my city and not just all the luxury and fancy hotels. :)
Just a note, my father nearly killed himself there at the first rug shop he walked into. It wasn't technically the rug shop, it was the lack of rails around a stairwell. He walked off the deep end and woke up in a hospital with arterial bleeding. The miracle is that he didn't land on anyone. Stay Lost.
Christian, what I like most about your vlogs is that they're cerebral as well as fun. It's as if you can't get enough of this world, and although I'm about to turn 65, I was exactly the same way at your age. Keep them going, man. You rock!
It is literally amazing to see such level of trust between people of two different nations, ethnicity and religion. That is the power of Youtubing, that is the power of social media
Excellent work mate.......your solo performance is very good...... It's been awhile since we watched your single performance..... Keep up the good work 👏
I like, visiting Dubai during Ramadan. It’s,very quiet during the day. You can’t buy water or food unless it is,from, your Hotel. Do not drink water or eat food in public before, prayer. Other than that Ramadan is my favorite time to,visit. Have fun in Dubai!
I was just in Dubai, when it was Ramadan. All tourist attractions especially the waterpark were extremely quiet which was great. Also you should check online for sales as we got the desert safari extremely cheap and it was a great experience. We also found that no restaurants on the side of the street were open. We could only get food in malls in food courts. Food prices were quite unusual; we food western food chains e.g. McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, etc were cheaper then what you would pay back home (Ireland) for example we paid 1 Dirham (20 cent) for an ice cream cone in McDonald's but before this we paid 26 Dirhams (around 6 euro) for a cone in an ice cream shop. Im not sure why he said taxis were expensive, they were extremely cheap. They started 6 or 12 dirhams and went up by 0.5 dirham every 20 or 30 seconds depending on what it started at. We got a taxi from dubai mall to the marina and it only cost about 15 euro. All tourist attractions were open and operational as normal. We stayed at a four star hotel which was very central and cost €500 for a week and the same hotel would have cost 3 or 4 times that amount in the winter months. You can get cheaper hotels on the outskirts of the cities which I would also recommend as taxis are inexpensive and if the hotel is close to a metro station this is a huge bonus as the metro is very cheap although there is only 2 metro lines and 1 tram line (in the marina area). It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to travellers on a budget but if you don't like extreme heat DON'T travel to dubai during summer as it is extreme.
