Christian this was probably my favorite video you've put out this year. Great storytelling with a perfect blend of culture/nature showcased. The drone shots were epic. Keep this type of content coming!
After experiencing a grind last year when 78 whales & dolphins were slaughtered in full view of the packed cruise ship I was travelling on, I fully understand why people won't go there. But hey - if you're really interested in mass slaughter of sea creatures, you do you.
I just bumped into this video…My husband is Faroese & we’ve lived in Kaldbak for 7 years (15 minutes outside Torshavn)❤ it is the most beautiful, peaceful place in the world. The weather can be hard for foreigners, like me…but I love it here. Thank you for sharing! ❤🇫🇴❤
Lovely video. I came across it by accident and thought the scenery looked familiar so i watched. I visited the Faroes 12 years ago...my first solo trip across the atlantic from Saint Lucia....having no expectations; i didn't even know what language they spoke. Luckily i have a friend there who gave me a lovely tour, and i had amazing experiences. Coincidentally, the green peace boat was in Torshavn at the time protesting against The Grind, so i was warned that as a stranger, locals might assume i was with them. Otherwise, it was a fantastic trip that I speak about to anyone who would listen. Fun fact...turns out i was the first Saint Lucian to visit there. 😊 I would love to go back one day.
Amazing video Christian! You’re constantly upping the game of travel content to new levels 🎉 Also. I live so close to this place and have thought of going so many times, but this is probably what I needed to get pushed over the edge (I’ll avoid the edge in the video though 😂). Thanks bro
Beautiful video so insane the high amount of quality. I have been impressed by your story, work ethic and overal creativity. Definitely need to catch up on some video Christian thank you!
Faroe Ialsnd is one of the best place I have ever been... Landscapes, the people, less tourism, amazing trekking paths, insane views... definitely my place to be when I need to find peace ♥ Been 2 times and wait to go back again! PS: you missed lot of iconic places, u need to go back 😜
Hey would love to hear some of your recommendations having gone two times. What hidden gems would you definitely recommend checking out? Thanks so much!
Bonjour Monsieur LeBlanc, this video is very very good ,I have learned many things watching it ...Félicitations ! I will watch many more of your videos ...je le répète : excellente vidéo!
Amazing travel video and ambience, both sunny and misty, of the Faroe Islands. I also liked the stories from the mythology and history of this unique location.
Hey 👋 Christian I have enjoyed your videos for years, you are a natural storyteller and your videos are simply stunning, inspiring and entertaining. Thank you for showing us the Faroe Islands you definitely have awakened my curiosity 😃😃
Whether you read this or not, dude! I missed your videos, they inspire me to work harder with my business, so i can take all my family to all of those places, big fan! Keep going! Greeting from México 🇲🇽
I have to say it was an awesome video, great cinematography and charming. Going to a place where not so many people go automatically generates great content but still you look tired.
This is fabulous. So is the one on Iceland. Great video and narration, with very engaging, entertaining and fun participation from both of you. One thing you might want to consider: Some of your commenting about pricing being high comes across as negative. Price is relative. Yes, prices are on the higher side for some folks, but consider the context. Might I suggest you state the price and leave it up to the viewer to decide if it is expensive. At $30 per person for a one-and-a-half hour guided tour on the Faroes with a knowledgeable and very personable guide who also packed a great lunch comprised of foods she made is definitely NOT expensive. Indeed, if the price was $150 per person, IMO you are still getting a great deal. It costs me - in Canada - about $100 just to have an electrician come to my house and tell me something isn't working. And he doesn't bring me a lunch. 😉 Once again, great videos. Thank you.
Oh wow, that’s crazy. I have a friend who married a military man who lived in the Faroe Islands. She lives there for about 5 years until her husband died of natural causes. I haven’t seen her since she returned to AK. I always wondered what that place was about.
Fantastic video! This is a bit more journalistic and it suits you very well. It's obvious you're looking to evolve into something new and sustainable for yourself. Travel-Journalism might be that thing for you! I'd definitely watch more of it! 😊
Not sure where you've got the impression that people refuse to go there for controversy reasons. It's more a case people don't want to go relative to other places - it has little appeal as a holiday destination
I like the fact that the faroes are early on at so many things for you guys, when i go to my famely at the faroe islands, it doesent matter if you are a bit late, unless its whale hunt or the plane bording...
I hope you get the chance to visit Hallstatt, Austria, soon. I've heard it looks like something out of the Disney movie Frozen. I would love to watch a vlog about it.
That lake is so famous. I’ve seen pictures of it many, many times. Wow, the cliff history is quite grim with pushing slaves off of it. Those who couldn’t perform their functions or those who stole items. Pretty steep punishment for their crime. I imagine it prevented theft for sure. Interesting history.
Controversial or not, the Faroe Islands are officially on my bucket list! The history, the landscapes, the food... I need to experience it all for myself.
She said the slope is 2-3k meters down, but she meant hundreds, right? I wonder whether Red Bull has ever went there to organise diving competition. Great video 🔥
Yes the Faroe Islands are so special 🙏 l love the Nordic scene, and l recognised several places🤗 THANK GOD there was NO Grind😱 when we were there!! Great video👍
Why does your girlfriend look like belle from the beauty and the beast 😍 absolutely gorgeous woman 🫶🏾 Never heard of these islands and was completely impressed. Thanks for all the work you put in to bring this close to us 🙏🏾
great video. definitely on my list. dang christian with a K got the trenches room lol. Christian with K - if you're working in not so good working conditions wink so we know lol this the sort of place FPV drone pilots live for keep up the good work
Torshavn is pronounced "Tor's hav-n" Also purchase power in Torshavn is similair to Charlotte US or Calgary Canada but with better wealth equality. They aint exactly struggeling
