Let's sit down and do my most controversial type of video... we need to test and see if you can weigh English Pokemon 151 booster packs. This isn't a how to video of how to weigh packs... this is a video to help consumers be aware if they need to careful where they buy!

This a good job by Pokemon! And I think they have been doing a good job lately of making the packs hard to weigh. Spreading out the hits is really good.

Ive challenged several people with a scale and packs to break some kind of code and there isn't one. 151 is truly impervious!

It's great they are harder to weigh. But something to warn against is buying single packs of the Japanese cards. They almost certainly won't contain masterball reverse holos because they'll be rejects from the booster boxes that have had the master ball pulled already

Your precision is the number of decimals you weight out to. The units don't matter.

Cool video. Just getting into pokemon cards because of my son. At around 8:30 in the video you had 2 bulbasaurs in the pack. Is that common?

That's a reverse Holo mate. While the other Bulbasaur is non Holo. It's normal to get both in one pack but they're both completely different cards.

No offense. But we have already seen Dr applesauce weigh and lie about packs for the clout. Weighing them on camera with no cuts would just increase credibility. No hate just constructive criticism. Thanks for the content

I think the wrapping on the new packs being thicker feel make me think that there’s gotta be inconsistencies. Also 2 reverse holos and a holo that it really makes it hard

I weighed my EBT as well my lightest pack 22.5 had Erika's Invitation full art and my 22.9 pack had the Zard SIR. The middle weights 22.6 had a EX another had Energy holo. The 22.7s had a AR card and 2 packs with Energy holo. The 22.8 pack was a dud.

The heavy heavy ones can kinda clearly be seen as guaranteed hit or 2 but thats about it

Sooo basically its just transitioned to keeping light packs instead of heavies. I see nothing to be happy about with this experiment.

Not really. The two lightest stacks had 9/29 hits (30%) and the two heaviest had 5/7 (70%).

The heavier packs just indicate a higher chance of holo energy-that is it. It doesn't tell you if you are getting a "hit" or not unless you consider the holo energy a hit.

@@snarkyalyx It doesn't. You misunderstand my comment. A kid might hear that comment in the video and believe that's what's true as they form an opinion of the world. The units aren't more or less accurate vs each other as long as there are enough digits in the decimal represented.

I noticed while I was opening packs, it felt like some of the code cards were thinner than other code cards. Maybe thats a countermeasure as well

they have been doing this a while but apparently now it's much better. it used to only be two sizes, the white and black card. now there are many sized code cards with the same looking code card

Seems hard to impossible to weigh these... because you never know. That ivysaur could have easily been the zardy in those heavy packs. Good to know either way. Thanks! No god packs for the kiddo for this set. I weighed out a bunch of packs for CZ for him and his friends. They had hits in every pack... my ears ached from all of the screaming! LOL
