Fosho do a part 2 + more! Gotta test the different products, also the pack wrap thickness seems to be all over the place in the S/V era... So I'd say it needs a little more testing.. Awesome video as always bro! I love that Gardevoir too! But I freaking NEED the SIR of it!

Definitely need a part 2, more packs and different products. I've noticed that different products like etbs and 3 pack blisters etc. Have different wrapping pack wrap. Ie. (Thickness)At least in some sets, I've noticed. I did an experiment weighing crown zenith packs and etbs had thicker wrapping than most other crown products. It may have a factor on the manufacturing plant or something to do with the plastic wrapping materials us3d for each batch of wrapping made. I really don't know. But there Definitely was a difference when I weighed them. And you could weigh them to find the packs with the hits.

Hard to tell since you got so many hits. They may have all technically been medium-heavy packs. But technically since the most expensive cards from the set are gonna be some of those baby shinies (and the SIRs), them not being weighable at least for baby shinies is good. Definitely need bigger sample size though.

What a fun set to open! Did not want to love it, got 1 ETB and one each of the sticker packs, in 18 packs I kinda fell in love… Still going to “try” and hold a little before buying much more, but not mad at what I got! Vert, appreciate the hustle bro you been on one lately. Here for it Gang Gang!

Every pack that will ever be made will always be weighable unless the distributer starts weighing packs and somehow compensates the difference in weights making them all weigh the same.

Dude, wish I would of known you were going to do a live opening of the set. I would of bought in. I bought 30 packs from Chris py tcg for this set. I would of bought from you. If I can make a recommendation, announce this types of lives a little more in advance and you may get more buyers from your loyal peeps. Same scale I use. I did a lot of testing on Silver Tempest and those are absolutely weighable even with the two different code cards and VStar card. VStar card is .4 gram heavier than the black code card.

the sample size it too small, need to do it in a mass scale, like 100 packs or something (should be more but I know this would be hard atm)

I’m not sure it’s hot and miss out of my etb my heaviest pack didn’t have any hit and it’s actually been my lighter packs that’s had 2 hits so I’m not sure with this set

The sets with double bangers aren’t going to be able to be weighed, 151 isn’t weighable either. I’ve mentioned before too that they’ve been having code card variation for a while to make it so they can’t be weighed. Also, since there’s not booster boxes, that would make it even more difficult by not potentially having a significant amount of packs all from one packaging run.

They can be weighed even with the different code cards. The weights are very specific. I’m not going to go into details but the double bangers and hits all have a weight for white code card and black code card and I’ve spent extensive time testing and constructing packs to test. The weights for double holo packs and full art packs etc all fall into a .02 range

@@GT-Reviews They don’t have black code cards in scarlet and violet so that’s irrelevant to this set. The rest is mostly disproven in this video, the fact that he had two packs with only a baby shiny hit that had significant weight difference proves that there is enough variance per card to be significant. In the next video he had a pack with only a baby shiny and the next one was a double with only 0.02 difference so that’s counter to what you said too. Last is the fact that his “light” packs in this video were nearly the same as his “heavy” packs in the second video. Point being again that there’s variance between cards of the same rarity. You also can’t get very good data constructing your own packs because it ignores variance in packaging. You would need thousands of packs to have reasonable statistical data to base that on and it only takes one example of two packs with different hit set ups to prove it’s not weighable.

@@keyframeclips we get it, you work for Pokémon 😆. They can be weighed. Get a scale and run tests man. It’s all math the packaging/ wrapper isn’t going to vary enough to substantiate your claims. My testing was done with silver tempest. However I would like to point out that you yourself sir are the one that mentioned code card variance in your first comment lol

@@GT-Reviews Cards of the same rarity have already been shown to have variance greater than the 0.02 tolerance you referenced, same with the packs too. As well as packs having the same hits being shown to be able to have 0.1 difference in weight. Also, I didn’t say anything about black code cards, I said the code cards have variation too, meaning some are thinner than others. The fact of the matter is there are too many variables to say you could take a group of packs and determine the hit distribution by weighing them with 100% accuracy. You’re welcome to provide video evidence though if you think differently.

@@keyframeclips I will! Next video I do on the channel will be me weighing each pack. Booster box of this set coming tomorrow. Bottom line is we are both consumers and enjoy Pokemon. Maybe the science isn’t exact but we can get pretty close I’m willing to bet. Let’s just enjoy opening packs and getting hits. For some of us RU-vidrs we are just weighing packs to see if we can figure out the code. Not everyone has bad intentions. But it is nice to be able to inform people which weights to avoid IF that is possible. We all have common ground here and wanna maximize our chances.
