I modified a rubbermaid storage bench to house my Nuvio chiller. The chiller was extremely hot (couldn't touch it) so I put it back out in elements. I am in FL blocks from beach. I see the salt on it already. Can I house it in something safely?

I keep my chiller in a plastic bin next to the my tub. I had no idea it would withstand the weather

Really shocked the chiller is holding up outside in the elements. Wonder if it’d survive a Canadian winter too 😂

In the summer my 1/4 hp , runs a bunch to hold 50. Insulated rubbermaid. Wondering if I need 1/2 hp

What climate are you in? Where is it located? Foam board insulated or foam?

@@DIYColdPlunge hello. Thank you for the note. It's built off your design, sprayed the tube and filled the open panals of the frame with foam board. The tub is inside the house in a climate controlled area. I'm in Virginia near DC. Also put the chiller in a catch pan for the condensation. Lines are also wrapped to the chiller. Popped a fuse one the on the chiller and why I don't try below 50. Thanks again
