Canada needs to shift from mass immigration, real estate bubble, and exporting raw resources to innovation. Doesn't help when you have tax and spend Liberals either.

Yes, the AI is the future, but now it is better for the governemnt to get back to the ground: resolve the food price, oil gas price, every living cost expensiveness issue. You can't feed your family, save your money, spend on what you like, then why are you talking about the AI? Can AI resolve your income shortage, pay your rent, etc.?

We can't attract the world's top talent because the US is such a better place for them to be. We are so behind. There is no way of solving our uncompetitive economy. We're entering an era of national uselessness.

It might be easier for Trudeau and Freeland to tax AI, at this point, to reap the benefits on behalf of all Canadians, instead of investing into it. Only the stupid will pick up the hard work. Canada has no need to bother

LOL I want whatever this guy's smoking. This country will be lucky enough if it doesn't become a 3rd world country in the next decade, let alone winning the AI space.
