Great shots again Brett! And what a nice little find at that stream. I totally agree with you on shutter speed selection for flowing water. Too long/slow and it looks like milk cascading down the hillside! Keep up the good work and videos. I'll look forward to the next one from your adventures in the Rockies. Cheers mate!
Another great video, lots of fantastic images in a beautiful location. I really loved the intentional camera blur shot, that looked great when looking at it on the big screen TV.
Love the video Brett. Haven't seen much ICM from you but I really liked the one you did - it was beautiful. I loved the little stream with the green moss.......particularly the images with your 100-500. Awesome.
Another enjoyable and informative video, Brett. Such a beautiful stream and you captured it well. I agree with you about the shutter speed for moving water as I love the "brush stroke look" you achieved. I liked your idea of a "freestyle" shooting adventure. I was happy to see some "critter" shots in this video, too as it mixes things up and proves the point about "freestyling"; if that's a word. The Rockies is on my list of places to revisit now I know more about getting a good shot through your workshops and videos. Thanks Brett.
Shaz, thanks as always for watching, Much appreciated. And brushstrokes is a great word 🤓 & yep I really like freestyling it’s my favourite way to photograph
Thanks Brett for another fine video. I’m a fan of cascade and waterfall shots and the green moss on the rocks is beautiful. I’m particularly enjoying your videos from Alberta as we just enjoyed 10 days there last autumn. The whole area is exquisitely beautiful
Thanks for your videos Brett. I still consider myself relatively new to Photography-4years- and love that you place your settings for us to experiment with. I am visiting the inside passage in April on a cruise and then Queenstown in July an will certainly be “ experimenting” and getting those special scenes and shots. Thanks again
Great images Brett. Water definitely has to have texture as you say. I love the first Mountain and lake photo (at the end of the video) and what a nice surprise to see an ICM image and it worked very well. Hi from NZ
Hi Brett! Nice videos from Canada. I'm preparing my trip there in the summer and I'm looking for some nice locations. Where is that lake? Is Lake Minewanka? Thank you in advance and congrats for the nice pictures and the videos.
Hello, I’m assuming you mean the lake at the end of the video ? I honestly don’t know the name of the lake but it’s on the spray lakes road I think it’s called
