Proud of these men... they battled for Canada on the biggest stage. They learned a lot and will be better prepared at home for the next tournament. ❤🇨🇦
Nah Canada is too Oligical. This is why they lost all 3 group stage games.only Canada and Quatar lost all 3. Such an embarrassment to Canadian soccer.not enough white players.
All the attention and expectations seems to be on Davies. Let’s not forget the other 25 players that helped Canada get here! The media shouldn’t stroke any player too much because that will put them under a lot of pressure to perform up to everyone’s expectations! This is the World Cup and the ball is round! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! You only have 3 games to prove yourself at this level! Sometimes bad luck like a bad injury can change everything and they’ll be on an early flight home! Media should just STFU and wait at least until the end of the 1st round before they start stroking there egos. Let them prove themselves 1st by defeating high ranking teams like Belgium and Croatia! This is the WORLD CUP! This is not Honduras, Panama, Haiti or St Lucia they’re facing! These are high ranking teams! It took over 2 and a half years of qualifying for them to get here! It takes a team effort to win and a lot of good luck goes a long way as well. Also, I believe 2 best players on the Canadian National team are Cavallini, Johnston and Osorio. Maybe that’s who we’ll all be stroking soon. Davies only did well against cheap teams like Honduras lol. Let’s see how he performs against Belgium! Also Davies name should be changed to Davis! The name Davies sounds like a remedy for constipation. Lol
In my opinion Cavallini and Osorio are by far the best Canadian players. Davies is also good but he’s no Ronaldo and yet the media is trying to portray him like he’s some superstar. I feel he is getting all the attention because he’s black and Canada with all there diversity antics is trying to stroke all the black egos. This is political but at the end it is Karma and the universe that will truly show us who’s truly the greatest player in Canada.
Wtf are you saying, he literally plays for Bayern Munich and was a crucial part in their champions league winning run scoring a spectacular goal against barca 8-2. He's easily the best Canadian player in terms of talent, and he has 10+ years to prove it in the national team more than he already has
@@heathermckinnon1865 yes Cavallini is a great player! He’s not getting the same attention because he’s not black. Soccer Canada, FIFA and the World Cup is very inclusive and follows strict socialist policies just like the mass media and corporations. We can see tonight how great Davies is! He missed a penalty shot and did f all agains Belgium, the worlds 2nd highest ranking country.
Well well well ! CANADA LOST! I’m very upset! We saw today how “great” of a player Davies is! I cant believe the guy missed the penalty shot! What an embarrassment to the country! You see this is what I was talking about. They pressure these guys too much to succeed and this is what happens! They lost! I’m disappointed because they didn’t play Cavallini who is a much better player than Davies. This is what Canada gets for being so political!
@@jonahs52803 it’s only ever hockey players who bring this up. Pointing to the toughness of the sport as one of the primary reasons for its superiority. American Football players feel less inclined to attack soccer players than hockey players despite playing a tough sport. Even Rugby players don’t give “footballers” that hard of a time because often football nations have rugby backgrounds as well so the population understands both. Hockey of course has the potential for serious injury and is undoubtedly a “tough” sport, but it’s far less demanding on your body, hence 3-4 games per week at the professional level and lesser athletes overall. They’re “hockey players” and usually their “athletic” ability doesn’t transfer well to other teams sports (volleyball, basketball, ultimate frisbee haha). So yes being Canadian having played hockey and soccer I have a very good idea of how the average hockey fan oblivious to soccer thinks. They are Ted Lasso of hockey basically.
Almost every country has a national team, and ours is starting to grow. We haven't been a big football/soccer country, but we're in our second ever world cup and the future looks bright
@@MoeSzyslak20 I know bro, it was a joke thus the "/s" to show it being sarcastic. The Canadians actually won the group stages in North American qualification.
