Prior to the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship, members of Team Canada met with BarDown to call out teammates for fun. Who has the best nickname, and who has the weirdest tape job?
I'm not sure if this would be difficult, but when you do this style of video, you should put the names below the person every time and not just the first time they appear. Because if there is a large number of people in the video you see all of the names right in a row and then not again for the rest of the video so it is tough to keep track of the new faces.
Based on the fact Tanner Molendyk and Tristan Luneau were in the video even tho they're not in the tournament I'm assuming this was shot before Donovan and Ty Nelson got recalled. I'm with you tho!
@@dvotzmusiccompilationsandc5647 Seattle didn't release him because they figured it'd be more valuable for him to keep playing for the Firebirds than send him to the tournament, can't say I blame them he needs to get comfortable playing against grown men.
@@jeremybueckert3187 I understand but the World Juniors are a good morale booster so if he does good in it maybe he could play better afterwards. Last year he went off in the OHL after playing in the world juniors and I understand it isn't as tough as competition in that league but he looked like the top prospect we thought he was when he was playing and sending him to this one could potentially also have a similar result. Also considering he isn't playing in the NHL I think it would just be the nice thing to do to let him play in the world juniors if he wants to. After all these are humans not just products and sometimes we need to consider their needs as well, but I don't know Wright's brain so maybe he doesn't even want to go idk.
The biggest takeaway from this is that Macklin doesn’t like to be the but end of the joke by his teammates, ie the pickles and the cage hang. Lighten up kid, this is only the start - just wait till the show!
Players needs to practice shooting on net and AIM at GOALIE … watched the game they lost and deserve to lose b because every everyone-every players wanted to make a pretty GOAL , Several breakaways going on the goalie and miss the net … that’s far from the best team that I’ve seen over the years and miss the net miss the net miss the net , the announcer said try to fix what Canada was doing and saying the other team sticks were in the way, but that’s not how I thought it.. next year get players that can at LEAST HIT THE NET OR GOALIE … the best team did win
This team doesnt give me the same vibes as the last 3 teams🥲 Feel like they're still missing some top end talent & names. Hopefully they still come through with gold tho but its gonna be hard this year.
I feel like this is a weaker team than usual but that could be just because I’m not that knowledgeable of the 2024 draft class or the later rounds of the 2023 class. That being said no matter what team Canada puts out there they are probably going to do good. I’m not rooting for them though as I’m American with Czech heritage but good luck to all teams.
@@AlexQC9 for sure weaker the goals they let in against the states was embarrassing over committing making stupid decisions especially in overtime i know its one game but there defense is garbage the offence is gonna have to carry this team if not we out
A weaker team than years past because there were about half a dozen players in the NHL who could have been on this team but the only one released was Matt Poitras from Boston but while this team doesn't have as much high end talent as some past Canadian teams their depth is still better than probably any of the European teams
Just learn from the mistakes of the 2018 team... and if you need to speak up now, do it otherwise you'll end up like the players who are in trouble now. It's not much to ask - just be a decent human being.
