Hey mark, My spouse is working in PEI under a designated employer and he is submitting the application for provincial endorsement this week. He has added me as well to the settlement plan. My doubt is that how long it might take to get the endorsement letter and also aftr submitting the PR application how long it might take to receieve the COPR as of now?

Hello. I applied for my endorsement 5th March 2024, from Nova Scotia. Still waiting for the response. What is rhe current processing time of endorsement in Nova Scotia? Thank you.

Received the Endorsement certificate from Newfoundland and Labrador, I am going to apply for PR So my question is, how long does the PR process take? And can I apply for a work permit after PR application? And I wanted to write a letter of explanation to them so do they check that?

Great video. What is the typical timeline for an AOR to come through after PR application submittal after successful job endorsement process. Any insights on time line from APPLICATION To AOR to COPR for an outlander applicant would be helpful? Thank you and looking forward to your valuable response.

Hi, thank you for watching my video. All of my direct experience with AIP has been with inland applications and I have seen the AOR take between 2 and 3 months to arrive most often, with some arriving a little sooner, and a few taking about 6 months. I have read that outland applications also typically seem to take about 2 or 3 months as well, but I can't say for certain. In my experience the time between AOR and COPR is still taking a long time. I suggest preparing to wait for a full year from AOR to COPR.

Does this program requires a special qualification or as a general Labour. Please kindly explain the process. Thanks

Hello, thank you for watching. The simplest explanation to begin with is that you need to obtain an offer of employment with a designated employer. There are designated employers in all kinds of different industries, so it may be possible to find work as a general labourer. You can find the list of designated employers within each of the 4 AIP provinces on the respective provincial government websites.

If you’re already in canada with an open work permit, how long would it take to get AIP

Hi thanks for watching. The AIP application process typically takes 6-12 months to complete. The thing to be most mindful of though, is obtaining employment from an AIP-designated employer. If you are already in Canada with an open work permit, it may be easier to secure a job with an AIP-designated employer initially because you can begin working right away (the process is much easier for the employer in this case), and the AIP application process can take place while you are already working.
