Last week in Abuja Nigeria I saw a very big billboard advertising Canadian Startup visa. I couldn't park to read it, but I'm glad you're talking about it. One question: where is the warmest part of Canada and what would be the cost of renting a 4 bedroom duplex to serve as an office?
@anyvisaimmigration
@anyvisaimmigration 3 месяца назад
Hello! The warmest part of Canada is generally considered to be the southern coastal regions of British Columbia, particularly in cities like Victoria and Vancouver. These areas experience milder winters and warmer summers compared to other parts of Canada. Regarding the cost of renting a 4-bedroom duplex to serve as an office, it can vary significantly based on the location within British Columbia. Here are some estimated rental costs: Vancouver: Average Monthly Rent: CAD 4,000 to CAD 7,000 Factors Influencing Cost: Proximity to downtown, neighborhood, amenities, and the specific features of the duplex. Victoria: Average Monthly Rent: CAD 3,500 to CAD 6,000 Factors Influencing Cost: Neighborhood, proximity to the city center, amenities, and specific features of the duplex. For the most accurate and up-to-date rental prices, it's advisable to check local real estate listings or contact a real estate agent in the specific area you're interested in.

Do you think IRCC will cancel quota this year or maybe even start new business immigration program?
@alextitov2933
@alextitov2933 3 месяца назад
Unlikely this year. My careful assessment is that they will have to cancel capping by the end of 2025 the latest. They have to. New program? They may experiment with investment programs, but being socialists what do they know about capitalism? They have to let someone else run the show.

Consultants have impressive, decorated offices and assure 99.9% success with a bunch of photos of successful cases of their clients. I have tried two firms one after another. I paid and signed the contract, but after document submission, they asked for more money for further support. When I questioned this, they said the service I needed wasn't covered. They proved this from the contract, using their legal expertise to manipulate the wording. Now, if I don't pay, I won't get support. Who can I choose or trust when it comes to immigration firms? If I book you for a consultation, how can you help or support me?

Sorry, but you got in the trap of "bad dating". Few bad dates should never stop you from looking for a soulmate but teach you what you did wrong. Consultation is to get data and understanding from a lawyer, not to fall into a trap of unknown. Never sign any contract without understanding a fee structure: buying a car or hiring a lawyer! Lesson 1. Lesson 2: make a budget/time/risk comparison, make sure you know all options. That's what our consultation is about - know you, yes, but first - give you a full picture of your upcoming battle.

Canada? LOL. Nope. I have many friends there who are planning to leave.

To be fair I would agree. Many are planning, but...are they moving? Ask them Why? and Why not? Then please come back and share what they say.

@@alextitov2933 Only a few of them are native born Canadians, the rest are second generation immigrants. Young professional people. Many are moving back to the homelands of their parents and grandparents. Some are moving to parts of Asia, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. The main issue that comes up in our discussions is despair about the future of the economy in Canada, diminishing rights and freedoms, and dislike of the current Prime Minister. This is interesting to me because I've heard the same things from some Americans who express similar sentiments about the USA. Some of them did move, but there are a few others who won't be able to. One in particular used to live in the US but had to return to Canada to take care of an elderly parent. She also wants to move back to the US but can't due to family commitments. Another one moved to Canada from the UK years ago and said he's not liking how the country is changing. He's trying to get an work visa to come to the US because he doesn't want to go back to the UK.
