Love it when your Uncle says,”I should get one of those shirts..” (pointing to your sleeveless shirt!). Clearly, your Uncle is already enamored of the Phils. If yes, I wouldn’t blame him; for us Filipinos who have been away from our home country, seeing your videos makes us feel amazed by our beloved country already!! Thank you, Kulas, for loving and embracing our culture! 🥰🇵🇭
Former Congressman and Doc. Nereus Acosta was principal author of many environmental laws in the Philippines, including the groundbreaking Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Solid Waste Management Act, and the Biodiversity Protection Act.
As I watch your uncle and as I recall the video of your Dad, I see where you get your spontaneity and humor. No wonder you are such a natural. Happy days ahead.
Is this Neric Acosta? He was my professor in Political Science around 10 years ago. Outstanding lecturer and he really has this soothing voice where you have no option but to listen to what he says. I’m glad he is doing great.
hermajestykatrina yeah, it was a pleasure listening to him as evidenced by the fact that I still remember what he talked about during those days. He focused on strengthening our institutions so that they would not be dependent on whoever sits in Malacañang.
Definitely yes that's my beloved land only in the Philippines continue vlog my boss im so happy that all around to my country can watch this video becoming pilipino thumbs ❤❤❤👍✔✔✔
0:39 That's not a mountain nor a hill, it's an ancient tree that was chopped down by the Watchers and their Nephilim children. Yup, it's true, our land played a big part before the great flood.
Nah its a place of envey jealousy crab mentality corruption its so sad but thats how it is thats why philippines will never be AS GOOD AS IT WAS BEFORE
Native Filippino here. I know my country's natural geography is beautiful but I haven't seen the full potential of its beauty until I saw the amazing sights of the first few minutes of the video Proud to be FILIPINO!
I am working in abroad for 4yrs. watching this episode it made me realized how I mis Philippines...Im having a goosebumps and got emotional...its very awesome view...thanks kulas for bring us to such a wonderful places...
I think your uncle enjoyed his stay in the Philippines and hoping that he will go back here and thank you for showing the beauty of the Philippines to the world you're such a blessings for the country.
the doctor said kulas is "already filipino". if kulas decides to go back to canada, he'll have to put up a new channel called "BECOMING CANADIAN AGAIN".
BecomingFilipino thinking when is BecomingCanadian with Kumar would happened! Like Kumar lives with a lot of Canadian. Kulas, BitBit and Mikmik are all Canadian
This is a spectacular video! Thank you for bringing us to your juorney Kulas, majority of us filipinos do not know such place exist in the Philippines. God bless you Kulas!
Kyle, I know this was put out years ago, but every time I watch this, it sends goose bump all over. you show the beauty of hidden gems. And you can tell the Doc. he has all the bragging rights and drum beating cause they deserve it.
WOWWW!!! You surprised us, Kulas with that grand canyons...a lot more to discover in my country. The food are spectacular...have unique presentation. I can go there someday! I wanna experience the feeling of living in the old times. That's how rich filipino families live in the past...unfortunately, my family belongs to the marginalized group of filipinos. Dr. Neric Acosta speaks like a radio commentator...nice big voice with clear English...wish all professors have his speaking qualities...every word could penetrate every sleepy head in class, for sure.😂
Thanks,Kulas for giving ♥ to my comment...'coz it comes from the heart. We're excited to your next adventure with the Fighter Boys, hope the group is complete. Finn and Sherlyn's adventure in Batanes has ended, they're going home today, I guess. Then, Finn is getting ready for the next travel with the boys and Sherlyn will do her own thing for the mean time. Catanduanes or Bicol might be their next destination as they said in one of their videos. We're just here to support you all.Super Apirrr, Kulas. ✋
Yey! My daily dose of becoming filipino is here!! Your drone shots are always the best, Kulas! I didn't know that Mindanao has our version of Grand Canyon! It is so breathtaking! I've always been a city girl and never had the chance to visit the South. But thanks much for doing what you do. Mindanao is branded not in a good way and gems like these are often unseen. Thanks for unmasking the hidden beauty of Mindanao.
Doesn’t that place have the most insane mountain view?! *Bukidnon* is awesome, just something about the vibe there! And your folks just look happy happy happy!
Ur uncle is so funny. He has the same character as you. Down to earth and appreciates what is around him. He will be home sick when he leaves the phils. God bless and safe travels always...
I'd been ignorant of the fact that we actually have such a geological formation as a 'Canyon' right here in PH ... Cool thing to know ... Thank You for showing us this place, Kyle.
June 24, 2019--Awesome Bukidnon.....whoaw....thank you Kulas for sharing all of these....kumar and uncle made me laugh out loud....i love the humor.....
Truly a spectacular view indeed! Take a bow Kyle for such an outstanding vlog! I suggest though that you edit the title and put "THE GRAND CANYON OF THE PHILIPPINES || (Canadian Family Sleep In Old Filipino House)" instead of (BEST VIEW PHILIPPINES). I think it will catch the attention of more viewers and will get them more curious and intrigued. Honestly, this vlog deserves to get viral! You guys are truly blessed to have seen and experienced that beautiful piece of nature! Thanks for sharing this magnificent place to us and I thank God for His wonderful creations!
First time I saw this. It really is like the Grand Canyons, but with lots of greenery. Thanks, Kulas, for showcasing the Philippines to your parents and Uncle and Aunt. I can see how proud you are too.

Stunning killer mountain scenics!! Thanks a ton, Kyle! The "Doc" got me schooled about that pineapple improved by his dad, impressive!! Kumar is a comic in his own right. Your uncle is the best. Very outdoorsy. He will fit in the culture!! We hope he and his lovely wife will one day stay here for a while!! Get more sleep so you can give us more drone visuals!! Very nice house!!
Wow the drone shots at the beginning was amazing, I can't believe it is part of my humble beloved country Philippines! Thanks Kulas for showing how beautiful our country is to us Filipinos!😭😱🤗

Kumar worked as a white water rafting guide for many years.. lots of foreigner guests and Tagalog guests. He can rock language besides his native Bisaya
BecomingFilipino good that all your friends are smart just like the other funny becoming yayo that’s why I love to watch your videos because your are so humble and kind to everybody walay arte pls keep it up kulas👍
The place is not Bukidnon for nothing. It truly is a mountainous area (bukid is mountain, so Bukidnon means a lot of mountains). This is a view of Bukidnon that delightfully surprises me. It's like a green covered Grand Canyon, not as high as those in the US I think. I once had a bus ride from Davao to Cagayan de Oro passing through Bukidnon. In the middle of the journey I happen to look on my right side facing the sea and found myself seeing a very steep drop of the mountain we are traversing going down to the valley far below. I thought I was at a high altitude already. When I look on my left side, I still see mountains upon maintains still towering at a distance, far higher than the mountain where I was. The flat lands of this mountain I was on is just a valley relative to these mountains. They say a place called Buda in Marilog District, Bukidnon is also very beautiful. I can see some beautiful pictures of it in Google as well. It's like an undeveloped Baguio. Mindanao for the adventurous holds many surprises. You might get to visit the pygmy forests there in Davao, I think. It's a bonsai forest.
wow,I was mesmerized with the view...I never knew at first that it is in the Philippines...that we have also that beautiful grand canyon...I want to go there too!
