I was the same for a year or so Uber. I have to travel 2 hours to find tournament action at shop in Seattle but it is WELL worth it.

I love that this showcases that Serge is actually a really good player! Wheeler is just such an insanely good player that we lose perspective because of how often they play each other. Way to go Serge!

Seeing Serge in his element of jamming CHL was solid. I'd say good job fighting to Jerry, but....oof. Turns out Esper Initiative is pretty good

Why didn't Jerry bolt the Baleful Strix in response to Aminatou's ability, or bolt Aminatou at all? He drew the fetchland the following turn so he must've had it, right? No disrespect, but am I missing something? I guess he might've been holding it for later but the tempo he lost in the beginning could've been mitigated by something like that.

Hundred card singleton, legacy legal, no commander, you have 9 points for especially powerful cards (this is what they list off at the start, cards like moxen or ancestral). It's a 1v1 format, and is still pretty open in terms of what the 'meta' is like.

Canadian Highlander: an extremely competitive format where you can play broken cards like recall, original moxen, actual factual black lotus, fastbond, but also absolutely garbage cards like 4 mana 2/2s

The amount of people that say "Animatou" like it's "anime" and not "Aminatou" which is what's printed on the card. I have too many Sisay mains in my area that say it that way too, hah. Just playful jest though, haven't seen canlander before and it seems neat, but I'll stick to cEDH. Thanks for showing it off though!
