Good for you! I'm only 32, but I can say the same. I do remember being called a racist nazi back in 2015 for refusing to even consider a spoiled, unqualified trust fund twat to be pm.
I think we're too far gone for that. My neighborhood is slowly turning into Mogadishu. I'm in the process of moving to a small town to live out my remaining years with Canadians.
@@Redneckboy991 the only way to escape that. Move further and further away from the city. Exactly what I did. I'm on my fourth move already. It's tiring.
Not just that, they take Employment Insurance and then when you need what you pay for they deny you. So im done paying into E.I and I’ve told my employer that.
100,000 a month so they will vote for Truduh. Can we please secure our Federal election to only Canadian citizens only being able to vote by having to show Canadian citizenship?
What we actually need is an electoral collage. Right now, Quebec and Ontario hold all the cards. they have since Canada officially got a constitution. Each election is the same. 85% of Canada votes out the Liberals, Quebec and Ontario vote them back in. An electoral collage would give each province x number of votes... so say 1 each. That is 10 and 2 territories, so we need one tie breaker. We would quickly see Canada go back to being one of the best countries in the world. Each province would now have a say. Do you really think P.E.I. has a say in the shaping of our country? Oh... Its no longer Trudeau.... now its Turdeau or Turd-water. Prime minister turdwater.
@@InvisibleHotdog since always . new comers only have to show proof of where they live and a drivers licence . You don’t need to be a Canadian citizen to get a drivers licence . If they don’t have ID you can claim your ID and address in writing and have someone that knows you vouch for you … it’s so wrong and it needs to change
Klaus Schwabb has said you don’t need to invade a country with a military, you just need to put people in power that will not enforce laws and push the WEF agenda. That’s exactly what we have in Canada.
Our economy is afflicted by uncertainty, housing troubles, foreclosures, global shifts, and the aftermath of the epidemic, all of which contribute to instability. To restore stability and drive growth, all sectors must urgently address rising inflation, slowing GDP, and trade disruptions.
The US dollar is losing value due to inflation, while other currencies are gaining strength, creating uncertainty. Nonetheless, many people remain confident in the Dollar's perceived safety. I'm concerned that my 420K retirement funds may lose value, therefore I'm looking for other financial stability.
With my stressful career, I don't have time for investment analysis. For seven years, a fiduciary has managed my portfolio, responding to market situations, ensuring for effective navigation and informed decisions. Consider taking a similar plan of action.
My CFA, 'Leah Foster Alderman', is a well known figure in her field. I recommend looking into her qualifications further. She has extensive knowledge and is a treasure trove for anyone seeking to manage the financial markets.
A quick calculation shows us that the cost of the civil service increase costs Canadian tax payers north of 8 billion dollars annually. This is money that doesn't go into social services or to pay off the national debt or to hospitals or to the military.
Ya how about money I could keep in my pocket instead of getting crushed by taxes. This right here is the reason canada is shit because people like u think we need public services
@@user-vc9fw5su3jNope the GST was pay off the debt but after Mulroney Chretien another liberal Marxists that put GST into general revenue to pay fro his spending. All Liberal gov’s run deficits. Ban the Liberals.
That’s exactly what happened in Argentina, big government with the largest civic servants , big spenders , lots of welfare ,job for nepotism galore if you knew anybody working for the government the whole family were in the government payroll, they lost the control of spending , fancy travel ,meals in luxurious restaurants at the cost to all the taxpayers and this is exactly what is happening in Canada. The Trudeau government is abusing taxpayer money when Trudeau went to the meeting of the G 7 ,spent 250.000 dollars in food and entertainment they have to stop the abused to taxpayers,
Oligarchs on one hand that want cheaper foreign workers for jobs they can't export and continuously increasing consumer consumption due to increasing population. Then there's the leftists that want to replace Canadians so it works for them too.
Incompetence at its finest. Spoiled rich kid never had to count or worry about $, for him $ was easy. Then he lies when he adds like 40% to ALL CAD $ EVER, in less than 2 years, and says, that doesn't cause inflation. It does, called Quantity Theory of Money, so either PMJT is a LIAR, OR he is clueless and incompetent? Either way he needs to step down. Worst PM EVER LOL
which jobs are they taking that you want? they brought in 20B of their savings from overseas to Canada. Canada's trade surplus with the US last year was $60B. It's true the government miscalculated and brought in too many people which is lowering standard of living for all the middle class and lower...but that's not the crux of the economic issue if one has a brain
Yeah, they only hire foreigners now. This idiot saying they're better workers has obviously never had to deal with them. Today I was handed a warm 'iced' coffee, but at least I got a straw unlike the day before. This is probably about the simplest order and they struggle to not screw it up. And it's like that at almost every fast food joint. They put their fingers inside your cup when they pick it up to fill it, and hold the lid with their gingers on the top and bottom. I doubt they wash their hands because that's not their culture, which is why they always shake hands with their left and using your right hand is considered offensive.
95% of the jobs in every fast food place, Walmart and other places in my home town are now all immigrant workers. The people who worked in these places for years (some I knew worked in Walmart for 20 years) are now gone, either because their hours were cut so much they had to quit,or they were let go. My uncles grandson got his first job in A&W and he was the only non-east indian there. They did their best to make it so miserable for him to quit. He was 16 years old. How are Canadians born and raised in this country supposed to get work when so many entry level or private sector jobs are now only given to new international students or immigrants?
You're right on! I am so disgusted with how our tax dollars are being squandered under these ndp/liberal so called civil servants. It's been three years now that I have been after my MP, here in New Brunswick, to get me what I paid for from the IRCC. THREE YEARS!
Federal civil servants do not pay federal income tax. The money they pay in income tax comes from the gavernment and they just hand it back. It is better to privatise much of it.
Federal, provincial, and municipal employees all get their money from the taxpayers. Nice pensions too. Canada has too many people in the wagon, and not enough people are pulling it.
Ummmm.. i hate em too. But they do lose money in taxes like everyone else.. remember, there are 7 layers between workers and ministers.. NOT ALK FEDERAL EMPLOYEES ARE CORRUPT
Thanks Lorne. Haven't heard a word about this over at the CBC. Maybe they're all on vacation? I've listened to educated teachers tell me how the taxes they pay contribute to the GDP and help add jobs....people who went though university.
Working from home is fine as long as there are consequences for poor performance but this is the Government so of course there isn't. Ditch all the empty buildings and start letting people go who don't preform.
No working from home isn’t fine! The productivity is about 46% on most studies and if it was so productive why has Trudeau hired 45,000 more gov workers? 2000 just to manage the carbon tax we all didn’t vote for?
@@kennordsfan1494 did you even read what I said. Countless industries have made working from home work. Only difference with them is if you aren't performing you're let go. Why should government work be any different. Set quotas and make sure they're met. It's pretty simple.
It is a telling signal when public sector employment growth outstrips private sector employment growth. And it is not a good signal. However this deviation in employment growth is a direct result of Mr. Trudeau's failed economic policies compounded by the reality government service delivery is declining. More people, more expense, but less productivity is also a telling signal. We continue to live in the upside down world of Mr. Trudeau.
Just the politicians on the tit of our tax money. Nothing new. I think I just need to get a job with the government. Doing nothing useful for the people of Canada.
Sorry but not totally true.. CFIA protects us.from bad food. Customs try to keep bad people, food, bugs etc out.. Try not to use too big a brush when hating.. you becom liberal
This is absolutely ridiculous that there's lower amount of jobs available. And civil service workers should be going into the office 5 days a week, not 3 days a week.
With the current wave of immigrants , “student visa/workers” and illegals entering the workplaces getting their wages subsidized to the tune of 70% ... what chance does natural born citizens’ children have as they leave grade 10-13 looking for part time summer work ?
the GDP is in fact shrinking once the real rate of inflation is taken into account. its not 2 or 3% but more like 8 to 10% at the moment. last year it was probably closer to 20%.
Why can't anyone just come out and say why this is a massive problem? If your paycheque is completely paid for through the government you are not a taxpayer. Your wages are paid exclusively by those who do pay taxes. Your $45/hr income is paid for in full by others who do pay taxes. The most generous take on this is that you have some of your taxpayer-funded income clawed back. I fully understand that we need some government jobs but a vast number of those who work in the public sector are a drag on our economy and need to go. Furthermore, public-sector unions are insulting to those whose wages have to go to funding their members.
Agree, they are incredibly incompetent from the top down. I doubt the CPC will be much better, but we have to try something that is different. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
I really am miffed why anyone would come to Canada voluntarily. We have no housing, no work and is insanely expensive. Other then poverty, censorship and woke authoritarianism, what does Canada offer?
Seven layers of management! That hasn't been seen in the private sector for 3 decades. What is the problem with the Federal government, healthcare, and education? All 3 have 7 layers of management. This has to stop. Notice how the IT delivery is a problem in all 3 domains as well. Could be related.
If you aren't willing to consider that this is all part of a larger choreographed system, you need to pay more attention to what is going on around you.
Interest rates should never have been near zero, let alone stayed there for many years. The stock market used to have a viable alternative in bonds and GICs, because interest rates were moderate. As you aged, it was prudent to have more money in guaranteed vehicles. Lowering rates for so long exploded the rich poor divide because anyone who could qualify was leveraging hard on real estate or even investing, creating historically nonsensical P/E ratios that continue today. I don't see any short term solution possible, because banks are allowed to extend amortization longer instead of letting the market correct, becauase they chose not to stress test at reasonable possible rates for over a decade. Did they really not think rates would rise in 25 years?
Stop conflating "New Canadians" with Temporary Residents. Just because someone resides in Canada does not make them Canadian. New or otherwise. A "New Canadian" is someone who has obtained Canadian citizenship through naturalization. A Temporary Resident has a work permit, study permit, or tourist visa and is not permitted to reside in Canada permanently unlike a Permanent Resident and Canadian. New Canadian and Temporary Resident are not synonyms. They are clearly two distinct legal status.
We all deserve so much more as Canadians and for our governments, both Liberal and NDP, to continue to spend recklessly and grow the size of government at unprecedented rates only to secure their futures and the futures of their friends is disgraceful. It’s time for Canadians to start speaking out and demand better government and get their spending under control. We the people live with budgets but the governments seem to believe they have no budgets and they have cart blanche to do as they want. Our tax money is ours and it should be spent for the betterment of Canadians! We need a strategic plan and fast to turn this around and once again become the promise land Canada once was. We have one of the richest countries in the world and yet we sell our natural resources, our lands, our waters to other nations who are stealing from us blind. Please help yourselves and start to speak up to your local MP’s so we are all heard and not hearing just the voices of the very vocal minorities. God Bless Canada and may we rebuild this once great nation.
