I LOVE the dome on the Legislative Building of Saskatchewan. It's like a black crown. Love it. The asymmetry the Legislative Building of Ontario doesn't really bother me. I think it actually complements the window-balcony thing the facade has going.

The reason the Ontario legislature is asymmetrical is due to a fire in one of the wings. When they rebuilt the wing, I guess they built it more fire proof.

I just visited Yellowknife earlier this month, and toured their building. Really nice on the inside, and well maintained, as it’s now 31 years old, but doesn’t look it.

as of 2023 the PEI house was still under repairs in March, which is sad because the surroundings are so nice in comparison haha

Most canadian parliament buildings are from american architects but Canada roots are from europe France and England ... Only Quebec has been authetic to its origins and culture.
