Chara was the last player out of both teams to leave the ice, that is some respect. you could tell by the look in his eyes the whole time how bad he felt about it.
KEEPROLLINROLLINROLLINYO r u stupid why would he wait to make sure he got off and then ask a player on the bench during the third if he’s alright honestly how stupid are u
John Farlio sorry. Not Canadian Nor a habs fan. I just hate Boston and their goons. They have never had a classy team. Always taking cheapshots to win.
He’s probably thinking there is going to be an angry mob waiting for his ogre ass outside lol guy has a bad rep in Montreal. And cross checking little wee 11 Gallagher to the face the other night. He kind of deserved that slap shot to the jaw last year.
Usually I'm the furthest thing from a Chara fan but I have to admit, this made me respect him more. This was clearly a freak accident, it's obvious that he felt terrible about what happened-and he handled it with a lot of class. Respect where it's due
Can I ask why? I'm a Caps fan, and I really enjoy watching him play. I'm just curious why someone would dislike him. He just doesn't seem like the type of player that people would dislike.
Fair enough, I'm mainly talking about not liking him on the ice. I'll admit that a lot of that is probably based on how he's usually done well against my Avs, haha. I haven't seen enough of his interviews to pass judgment on him as a person, but based on what I've seen here he's a pretty cool guy.
Chara is a class act. Such a caring player with such a big heart, you could see the concern on his face. Hope all is well with Danault and that he gets well soon.
You're a Canucks fan (which doesn't really explain why you'd hate Chara so much given the fact that they don't even play in the same conference) AND you bear the Nordiques logo instead of the Canucks logo? Plus, your name is Matthew Barnaby, a player who didn't play for either teams. You're a walking contradiction!
That doesn't explain why you *hate* him. Did he injure one of your favorite players? That would be a reason. Just him and his team having the upper hand on yours doesn't give much of a reason.
The Flaming Pike Like I said, search it up. Him and the Boston Bitches went for the player not the puck. Not to mention the fact that he almost broke Max's neck. Whatever, like I said, I respect him because of incidents like this
That was really classy what Chara did, the Habs and the Bruins are the biggest rivalry in sports but this game was definetly one with alot of class shown. Great game overall, the Bruins snatched the win in the end but we were lucky enough to pick up a point because we need as many as we can get right now. Good game Boston but we'll get you next game. #GOHABSGO
super gamer Dude agreed, I feel that in all sports rivalries the habs-bruins one is different from the other ones because sure they hate each other but there is more respect for the other side than there is in some more famous rivalries
These are two teams that hate each other the most. I love seeing it when a player is injured another player on another team changes the mood and apologizes.
The first thing people think about when you hear about rivalry's like the Battle of Alberta or Montreal VS Boston, you think of fighting, but their is much more than that, and this single video shows that.
It's the dichotomy of this sportsmanship at one moment, and a likely fight at the next turn. Not this example specifically, just the dynamic of the game makes it very interesting on top of everything else.
So they could see better, nothing worse than having the puck right underneath your feet and not seeing thanks to your helmet. Also because it looks cooler
cus ya gotta be able to see and skate. Most hockey helmets actually do an amazing job of distributing head contact since it isn't a head contact sport in the slightest.
Honestly, exactly this. Neck guards and cages don't affect your performance whatsoever. It's most likely because it looks better and they make money off of "putting on a show" for lack of a better term
Wow wow wow. Scary scene. Hopefully a quick recovery for Danault. Amazing sportsmanship on Chara's part, you can tell he felt terrible. So sad to see, but part of the game too..
Honestly, Chara seems like such a sweetie. Whenever he accidentally hurts someone he’s always the first to make sure. This is something I’ve observed but honestly I’m here for it.
Wonderful sportsmanship by Chara to go over and check on Danault. This is exactly why I love hockey. Hard competition but most guys show their opponent respect.
As a Rangers fan, Chara was always a privilege to watch and admire. He played the game hard, but clean. I had the opportunity to briefly meet him once and he couldn't have been more affable and pleasant - especially to little kids. The game is poorer without his presence and only Chara could have made me root for the Bruins when they won the Cup that year.
I'm glad he's back ! I filmed an interview with Phillip in 2014 on my account. See, it's nice! Still, he looked much younger (It was filmed in Victoriaville) J'ai filmé une entrevue de Phillip en 2014 sur mon compte. Allez voir, c'est sympa ! Il paraissait encore plus jeune. Go Habs Go !
Chara one of the classiest guys (I'm a leafs fan BTW) and have so much respect for him.i truly believe that he could be crushing guys but knows his strength
Crazy thing is, Chara barely put any power into the shot. It was a quick one timer. Not a full on cannon that he's easily capable of firing. Danault might be lucky that it wasn't. Scary stuff.
