Florida Fishing- Snook in the Canal?!

This was in a canal in Clearwater Florida near my vrbo! What a awsome time we seen rays, talapia , snook, gar & a bunch of other species .
I was running a artificial shrimp lure from Walmart and it worked like a charm.
Ended up with a few more that weekend but nothing out of the canal with any real size to it but dang it guys it was a ton of fun!
