Always a good idea when fishing a short whip to have a couple of extra sections ready in case silly fish turns up also allows to fish a bit further out
Hi Bob, you can do more with a 5m whip, but they are heavy. Pop into your local tackle shop and try a few out before you decide. Good luck and tight lines for your next trip out 👍
Gonna give this a go tomoz on my box .. try out my keepnet hopefully 🤣 iv got a few worms iv dug up, bread, and small Robin red pellets.. I'm wondering will the tiny Robin reds work.. also got corn. Iv got a bag of decent groundbait aswel. Wondering will corn work for bigger fish in the swim?
Hi there, you should be able to catch on all of those, the worms, bread and corn usually work quite quickly, you may have to wait a wile for a bite on the pellets, If you haven't had any success after an hour, move swims 👍 Tight lines and enjoy your day 😎
@@boldersa I'll start off on a small bit of corn, quicker the bites the better! 4mm Robin reds are a option on tiny bait band. Size 16 smallest hook I got.
Thank you Dan, I'm down in the Northants/Warwickshire borders and we are lucky in the one thing we have is plenty of canal to go at. Tight lines and take care 👍
Spot on Barry I knew you would get it, it's one of those things that sticks with you doesn't it. There have been many good contributors and videos over the years Barry but for me JW was the man that did the most for angling, he certainly had an influence on my fishing. Take care Barry, I'll see you on the bank soon 👍
