This video just answered my question! My secondary shaft has up and down play, noticed this while doing clutch maintenance. I assume the bearing that’s in the cover you removed is the culprit for this? Any input or feedback you got would be greatly appreciated!
I have a 2013 Can Am Commander LTD 1000 that I just bought with only 900 miles. It already needs this as well as wheel bearings and tie rods ends. GRRR. Whoever bought it new rode it hard. For me it's just stricly a utility vehicle. I treat her gently so she will last until 10,000 miles.
Commanders broblem also. I had to do the same to my commander. There was bad lockrings on axle and H & L gear move on axle. It caused bad loose contact between sleeve&gear. i had to renew H,L,sleeves and lockrings.
Check before engine & gearbox atachments to the frame. Top motor mount can be broken and engine brake turns engine sideways and force the gear out (shifter rod turns)

What are you fixing here? Does this fix the transmission not shifting into gear or popping out of gear problem? I am trying to diagnose the problem with my gear box on my can am 650 xmr
@@Rapsa85 Clutch I brand new CVech. It has shifting problems when the quad is off as well. It also sometimes makes a horrible sounds like marbles I think it pops between gears. Happens more in low.
