I'm only half way through but great friggen job so far! You have me completely convinced that if someone want's to do any sort of mud riding, the CanAm is the way to go! Brandon made a smart move picking that machine up, the snorkel looks killer!
It is a beast in the mud for sure.. and canams intake design along with the exhaust for the belt is very well designed and located high enough stock to be able to go thru some relatively deep mud holes
By far the best video for the warrior risers, thanks. Also, how did/what did you use to get the pre-made engine intake connector inside the cut factory tube? Thanks
So having a different setup on my 450 outlander mine didn't come out as good as this. It looks alright, but the instructions were crap. I cut in all the places it showed to cut holes. Seems like the airbox breather doesn't line up like yours. Either way it's on, now my question is did you guys use the screens on all of the snorkels?
@@LCPowersports awesome ty that's all I have left to do on it. I got it with the Halo lights but they wouldn't work on it. So those are gonna be used as front lights instead.
The warrior riser kit for your XMR should be a lot simpler install than it was for this XT model. You may need a dremel tool, flat head screwdriver, Phillips head, maybe a couple metric sockets or wrenches. PVC glue, and a couple zipties.
What did you use for a Silicone? I'm halfway through this install myself and am now questioning whether or not I picked the right silicone for the job. Used some all weather construction sealant from local Menards (White Lighting Stormblaster, tripolymer elastomeric sealant) but just now found out that this stuff is more geared towards roofing applications. Probably going to end up re-doing the silicone.
One thing about can am that Polaris will always have over can am, beefy prop shafts and a good rear diff, Polaris fronts aren’t the greatest but that comes from people’s negligence
Well Polaris’ rear “diff” is the trans. I’ve seen more issues with the Polaris trans with their retarded turf mode shredding into chunks and completely fucking the case and rest of the trans more than I’ve seen can am destroy their diffs.
Where did you order the kit from? I ordered one for mine and it was not a warrior riser kit so I need a good site that I can order from and not get burned again. Thanks!
Brandon,.Blake or Joel, I NEED your help!!!!!! I have a 2021 c Force 500 that I am about to snorkel with a warrior riser kit. I've seen this video snorkeling your outlander and let dirt flies video snorkeling their cforce 600, but there are no videos on RU-vid showing how to do it on a 500. Can you post one or direct me to a video that I can watch?
Iv had it over heat and go into limp mode once and i was in some deep mud on a really hot day other than that its been good! Iv been on the line on getting a rad relocation but I haven't had enough problems to go ahead and pull the trigger!
@@coltonspeer3005 take your time and have patience lol its worth it in the end! And don't forget to get you a air box seal! It helps to heat it up with a heat gun to get the air box to close all the way if you can't get it closed!
Hi, just install most of the riser but I my cam an do not have the vent line run to top. Wonder if you guys can help me to know where do they come out from.
@@LCPowersports no I do not use social media. But you said at the beginning of the video they go to the differential, air box...... but I have 4 line and like to make sure before.
I’m looking at this kit but I’m trying to cut as little as possible. The description on their website said you only had to cut 3 holes in the cover part. That looked like a lot more than 3 holes. Did y’all have to leave the splash guards off as well?
We did but you can trim them to go back on. Its only 3 holes but there is more cutting under the plastics. It was honestly more than i wanted to do but I do like the kit.
LC Powersports I had my belt exhaust run up into the pod at one point but my mistake was where I cut some out of the right side splash guard let water run right up into the pod when my tires were spinning in water
I have a 2021 can-am outlander 450 if all my stuff is ran up to the handle bars like yours does that mean I can take it up to there and not worry about water or is there other stuff I need to run ? I haven’t made it completely threw the video so sorry if I missed something
Just make sure everything is sealed off the only thing I did other than the kit was I got a better seal for the air box. Iv been to the top of the snorkel tips and haven't had any issues.
LC Powersports ok I don’t have the kit tho I just have the 3-4 lines and the little belt box thing ran btw so do you think I need the kit or should it be good as long as I’m not over the lines and belt box thing sorry if I’m aggravating lol I’m just not trying to total a new fourwheller
@@dudeethan2593 I ordered mine like last Thursday and got it yesterday which was quicker than expected. Yes its a fight, and if you have a 2020 outlander 450 expect a headache taking the whole front plastic off. It's not like this model you see here, no access panel under the rack. It's all one piece on the 2020. Took me hrs just to take that apart because no one on here has a video of it.
