This is the only dance that we preserve from the "guanches" of the Canaries. It was brought to the court un Madrid where It became a hit. The "canarios" danced there and we have a description of their movements. Later It travelled through Europe and many artists composed "canarios", as It was called the piece. Even Haydn composed one "canario". It's a very catchy piece, and it's clear why It became very famous... It was one hit of the XVIII century
@@RoneiRamos Well, if he's buying, I'll take one, too! Also I'd like a baroque mandolin (mandolin is my instrument) and a harpsichord and not one of those little single manual jobs either. A big ol' fat robust 8' two manual numbers. You know, as long he's buying. And, hey, a clavichord as well. And some German chocolate. Lol!
Beautiful music of great virtuosity and remarkable skill. The joy of music through the ages, lives here right now!! Most majestic and divine performance! [`Salutes!!]
I have listened to several top international virutuosos play this piece on modern classical guitars but none sounded as good as your performance on the baroque guitar. The performance was so musical and delightfully tuneful. Whatsmore I loved your strumming at the end.
My God that was beautiful, thank you so much...... That has been my most favorite tune.... all my life... thank you for doing such justice to it. wonderful Bard....
Thank you for posting this fabulous rendition, I feel you captured everything in this lovely piece, made it come alive and have given a definitive performance. Please post more. Thanks Baz
I was just introduced to this piece on Classical KUSC (great classical channel from LA). Searching online, I found your rendition. I thought I was listening to the professional radio recording. ASTOUNDING. Well done, sir!
Wonderful and beautiful! Thank you so much for your art and your sensitivity Diogo. ¡Maravilloso y bello! Muchas gracias por tu arte y tu sensibilidad Diogo.
Thank you again for the wonderful concert yesterday at Kieswerk Weil am Rhein - and for sharing this Sanz jewel here! It is a shame that the musicians names were not included in any kind of programm - I had trouble finding you on the Net.
Suggestion. Include in your notes the maker of your guitar and whether it's modeled after as specific maker. That's always cool to know plus the date of the style. You know, like So & so after Stardivarius, 1720. No that's not accurate. Whenever he made those super violins.
You're playing is precise it sounds verrrry nice to my ears! Thank you for sharing your nice tone with me :) I like the baroque guitar here very much and it suits the piece so well too
