Thank you so much for this video! I'm going to Cancun in July but really wanted to explore some of the beautiful sights, so this is perfect! Now I need to decide which 2 out of the 5 to do haha
Have fun!! Well it depends on what you’re interests are... we really enjoy history so the ruins are great for that. But if you like more of the water activities then don’t even bother going all the way there and just stay along the coast closer to cancun and visit some cenotes 😊
Cancun is recognized throughout the world for its spectacular white sand beaches and its fascinating sea in turquoise blue tones. With unique natural places, Mayan culture, water activities and adventure.
Thanks! Well we heard the drone laws have changed a lot over the last year... it seems that drones are no longer allowed, unless you are a Mexican citizen!
Excursions can take up your entire day - be aware . 12 hours total . Not everyone enjoys this and it can be tiring so you need to go into it knowing what you wanna see and do. I’ve done a lot there and things are overhyped and not worth it like chichen itza, cenotes note the waters extremly deep and icy cold etc
Thanks for the great videos. We also create travel programs that we show on Latvian television, as well as on our RU-vid channel. Maybe we could meet somewhere in the world someday?
Hi. Is it possible to do 2 excursions a day ? I will be staying for a week for my first time ever in Cancun. I want to get padi certified, snorkel, swim with dolphins, jet ski, parasailing, atv, zip line & do the hip hop party boat but I don’t think I can do this all in one week right ?
That sounds like a very busy schedule! Getting PADI certified takes usually 4-5 days and involves many practice sessions and a bit of theory studying as well. So if you only have a week, I would either do that or just stick to snorkelling in the many beautiful waters and do some other activities like the jet skiing, parasailing, and ATV (which are usually paid per hour - so you can choose how long you want to go for). Other boat tours might be half or day-excursions.
I am traveling to Cancun and staying in a resort however, I would like to arrange to get to Tulum and back to Cancun for the day. What’s the best way to do so?
You could take a collectivo or ADO bus which leaves from downtown Cancun. It costs about 50 pesos I think and takes you all the way to the center of Tulum.
Such a helpful video! My husband and I are headed to Cancun in about a week and are wondering if it is best to book our day trip online or wait to do it through the hotel? We have heard mixed things on this. What’s your recommendation? The day trip to Chichen Itza is one we don’t want to miss !
You can definitely decide on the spot and book it the day before you’re planning to go! In that case, you’ll have more flexibility. Either way works… prebooking is only for those who want to have a piece of mind!
To visit Cancun to it’s fullest and the best surrounding attractions that are within a 3 hour drive, we would recommend 2 weeks. That will give you enough time to enjoy the best things to do in the area without rushing
This is a great video! Very informative! I will be there in July as well and definitely will be doing the Mayan ruins tour! Cant miss the wonder of the world when Im so close!!😅 As for a second I am thinking the first option of Rio Lagartos & Las Coloradas. Just wondering if you know what public transportation looks like there ?
You definitely can’t miss the world wonder! And you can check the bus schedule online for ADO buses! There might be a bus from Valladolid there but not sure. When we were there, there weren’t any buses because of COVID. But that might have changed. We did a day tour from Valladolid which was also fun!
