I unfriend people on my social media all the time, that doesn't mean they're no longer part of my life. I actually had to delete an entire side of my family from social media because the two sides were bumping heads, and I was in the middle. So I have my mother's side of my family on one account and my father's side on the other. I don't really involve friends on my social media because of the political crap going on in this psychotic world we're living in. I also have to use false names and emails so my employer and coworkers don't find me and try to befriend me.

Do you know the reason why there are just black churches, black networks, and black colleges? There was a time called segregation, Jim Crow laws. Black people couldn't go to any college or churches or grocery stores. Because they would be lynched if they did. Some Christians don't see it as sinful or they have hope it's not or that God understands gay and similar people end up who they are. Maybe, He wanted it kind of thing. I go to an Open and Affirming United Church of Christ church, but I also really get why not all Christians, churches, and denominations can be like this. The fear is something we all have to decide about and no one should be hated for just being afraid it is sinful but then not stopping people from being out, even if they come in their church, no one should be hated if they fully love and keep their kids safe but just feel scared or even if they had to say they couldn't attend their wedding (without shame being thrown at them as if they had intentionally hurt someone). God willing, every Christian and church would be Open and Affirming or what the people who said changing sexuality is possible promise would happen for anyone who needed it. Calling this a "sinful lifestyle" hurts so many people and I think it's not just someone being afraid, but hateful and the history/present of oppression towards gay and similar people. I don't see this language used as much towards other people and then their lives are not held in the legal balance based on the way someone else follows interpretations of the Bible. For someone who is feeling safe sexually and then strongly in love romantically, to see that so many straight or any people in an opposite-sex/gender relationship get to be happy and then be told they cannot, when sometimes so many of the said to blessed by God ones looks so wrong, then that would be traumatic. I'm unhappy being single and I'm a straight woman. I couldn't imagine being told how much I want to love or anything else could never be ok. I will always have the trauma from how much hate I saw directed at people who can be in same-sex/gender couples and anyone else in the LGBT+ community and how it was so common to just say it was sinful and somehow that mattered while other things didn't, like to some degree sex before marriage, people not being Christian but they had to be respected, straight or similar people sexually abusing people or the supposedly good people getting to hide sexual abuse and then somehow be said to be still good if caught sometimes. Also, so many men going to strip clubs is just accepted, although maybe not all the time. I also deal with all of this as a straight person and to have to be out, deal with this everyday, would be hard. Trauma is painful and so many people demand the reform that benefits them (like divorce or women having bigger roles at church) be accepted or at least respected, but they look ate same-sex/gender couple people and other in the LGBT+ community with so much hate and actively hurt them without any realization of how similar their pain about their situation is to their situation. I actually think films including people who cannot or who can accept people on various levels should be allowed, like some Christian characters will see it as sinful, some won't, some will have hope it is not or for grace. It sounds so big saying a company can't have representation for same-sex/gender couples and not calling out anyone who would legally stop a marriage (I haven't seen her do that.) or who religiously abuse someone while not wanting the same done to them that I think upsets so many people. Also, some people would just be mad at her even if she did those things, but I think it's more what I said about not helping to end hate.

Also, I get the company not being able to have representation for everyone. It sounds like she left Hallmark, because they did have same-sex/gender couples (but they should get to have many stories about different people) start being represented. I could never represent everyone and some of that will be seeing some people not want other people to cover their stories, trauma, and just my ability and what I picture.

Just because there’s a same sex couple/parents in a movie doesn’t mean it’s perverted or sexual. There’s plenty of shows aimed at kids/families with a same sex couple and they don’t do anything more than hold hands or have a quick peck on the check. There’s also tons of movies and series with straight couples that have very graphic sex scenes. And there are ones with same sex couples hit these shows aren’t for kids and we’re never meant to be. Yet nobody tries to ban these or say they shouldn’t be made of it’s a straight couple only when they have same sex couples(again these movies have never been meant or aimed at kids. It’s a parent’s responsibility to control what their kids watch. For an example I let my daughter watch The owl house which has a bi lead who ends up dating a girl, they don’t do anything more than hold hands, hug and kiss on the check. My husband and I both love the show sense8 but we won’t let her watch this series until she’s an adult and only if she’s interested because it is rated R)

Some conservatives can be extreme in their beliefs, and think that theirs is the only way, to act,dress,speak about certain topics. It's not, not everyone has to believe as you do.
