I started watching Candace several months ago. I was surprised at how balanced she actually is . She seems to be Pro Black. I don’t understand why the Progressives are constantly attacking her.?
"To be accepting, I'm gonna put my kids next to him." Has she never been in public before? If I were minding my own business and some random lady just came up to me with her kids and made them stand beside me, I would ask her what the hell she's doing. This says so much more about her than about anyone else.
I don't know man. I can at least appreciate Shapiro, and to lesser extent Matt Walsh, as at least reasonably coherent/intelligent people (albeit ones I vehemently disagree with). But Candace Owens....man...the more I watch of her, the more I feel like she truly is confused/incurious about a lot of things. She's trying and failing to play a part...it's like Rubin. Even if you're going to pretend to care about politics for your job, ya gotta at least read a little/practice real debates.
I just cannot..... imagine what kind of man put his seed in her and produced a child. Maybe I'm making an assumption, maybe she went the sperm bank route. Because she is truly one of the ugliest human beings I've ever seen in my life. Inside and out, and I think those two cyclicaly affect each other, which is why she's so bitter
@@HolyCanoley Matt Walsh is the most evil man out of all of them. I am convinced he is a closeted gay man who hates himself. Or a pedophile, but I have no proof of that. His obsession with children’s genitals is terrifying.
@@gsp4prez Don't disagree with any of this, I guess my point is he seems to mean what he says, and can at least speak intelligently (albeit horrifyingly) about the topics he's with. Candace just seems like she doesn't understand/believe half of what she's saying, and is just going through the motions.
I feel a bare basic level of sympathy for all the right-wing people in this country, they're all little children in adult bodies and they're scared of everything. It's actually really, really, sad when you analyze the root source of all their hatred and vitriol and paranoia, etc. But once I get past that bare human level I'm done with feeling bad for those dumb bastards, they deserve everything they get coming to them in this world. Everything, and when it happens I don't flinch one, inch. Like every one of them that called covid a hoax and then ended up dying in a hospital alone and crying, to hell with them. If they think their lives are worth losing, then so do I. We need a serious reset of standards and manners in this country, because treating nihilists and traitors with civility isn't helping anybody. They need to be treated with pure hostility, loathing, and condescension when they act like scumbags. Which nowadays is pretty much all of the time
They need to be locked in military prison for terrorism against a protected class. It was a mistake for liberals to oppose the war on terror and this is why.
Ah, I've finally confirmed it: without a shadow of a doubt, when I was 14, I was more emotionally mature and morally consistent than Candace Owens is today
@@geoffreysorkin5774 but, but, why? What could have changed? Could it have been-. No. You don't think-. You don't think she changed because of money, do you?
@@miguelconamor6687 Money mostly and a little disillusionment after her legitimate complaints about the racism and misogyny that she suffered were ignored.
One of Owens' big pet peeves is when she or one of her conservative pals goes to a college or university to speak and people come out in droves to protest it; isn't that a form of discrimination by her definition? So the next time she complains about that, please, somebody just tell her the college students should be allowed to discriminate against her because she gives them the heebie-jeebies. Or that time she went to a restaurant and people started shouting at her; she was pissed, but she shouldn't have been, because she gave the people in the restaurant the creeps.
@@marcusali1783 I was making a very shallow analogy. Obviously there are very nuanced differences, but Candace Owens here is literally saying everything short of, “It’s okay to be racist.”
The fact that you are comparing someone's actions to someone's born skin tone shows that you are the racist. I notice this with many people like you. A man choosing to wear panties, nail polish, hang around a playground alone, cross dressers, are all things that someone chose to do or put on. Her skin color was something she was born with. What a disgusting comparison. People need to watch out watch out for people like you cause you are many out there. So because she is black she cannot have an opinion on a man wearing a dress, underwear or partaking in gay acts? You are sick.
@@tomld4771 I fail to understand why being born with a trait is different from doing something you want to do. My point was neither should be discriminated against, as long as neither negatively affects others. As far as I know, the anti-LGBTQ stance is not simply that they don't like LGBTQ people, but that LGBTQ people should not exist--that their existence is objectively wrong. It's a little more than just an opinion. Now, to correct you even further, being gay is not a choice. One does not choose to be gay or not gay. One does not turn gay from seeing a gay Disney movie. To summarize for you again, she is not simply stating an opinion here. She is saying "It's okay to discriminate." If anything, she has all but thrown herself under the bus. Her point encompasses my comparison as well. By her logic, it is OKAY for racist people to discriminate against her. You think my point is disgusting but you have nothing to say to the fact that she is literally one step removed from explicitly saying it's okay for people to discriminate against her.
It is never ok to disrespect anyone but the comparison is still beyond messed up. She is judging an act that she does not agree with. And it's as though, she isn't allowed to have an opinion because she is black. I do think she used the wrong word here by saying discriminate but discriminating on race because of how they were born is nothing alike. Being gay, may not be a choice but it is still an act. Back in the day people could hide being gay for their safety, black people could not. And to compare is racist in itself. "you're basically saying, don't say this because people can judge you because you are black." I have seen this so many times. People of color are not allowed to have an opinion on the gay community, overweight people according to people like you because they will always be reminded that they have darker skin.
So Owens is for employment discrimination and Shapiro is for segregation. These fruits are really off the rails at this point. Oh and if Owens turned you down for a job go hire a lawyer.
So Shapiro would not allow Owens to marry her husband and Owens wouldn't hire Shapiro (because he must give her the creeps, as he does all of us). Perfect.
i mean let's be honest, she doesnt need a researcher, producer or writer (since she's an ignorant imbecile)...just someone to set the cameras up once and edit her dogshit rants a bit. she's not hiring anyone much with 'production values' like that.
I started watching Candace several months ago. I was surprised at how balanced she actually is . She seems to be Pro Black. I don’t understand why the Progressives are constantly attacking her.?
If it's ok for her to have these opinions regarding LGTBQ people how is not just as acceptable for some bigot to have the same opinion about her as a Black person? Literally the entirety of racism is based on the 'less than' or 'untrustworthy' or 'dangerous and not worth the risk' status of the person being othered. She's literally validating the principles that kept Black under one form of oppression or another for centuries, and continues to this day.
Excellent points. Not to minimize how dangerous her rhetoric is, but I can't really take her seriously. She got $$ by claiming she was being discriminated against, and now she gets $$ by spewing nonsense about how she does the same to others. She got $$ for going after Trump before the election, and after he won she started getting $$ from right-wing institutions because it was more lucrative for her. I agree with Emma on almost feeling sorry for her. But nah
*hiring and yes. plus with the amount of people that apply to her crew positions and other staff related to her production, it could probably be made into a Class Action suit
Didn’t Candice Owens sue Stamford School District for discriminating against her by failing to discipline students accused of picking/taunting her? If I remember the case didn’t go to court and the settlement agreement was sealed. Has she now changed her mind about discrimination and does she now consider they way she was treated by the students and school district just fine? Will she be returning the money she was paid in the settlement?
You realize she was a minor then right? Minors arent in control of lawsuits and settlements. Their parents are. Also, it's been more than a decade. She is allowed to change her mind, between being a teenager and a 30+ year old mother. ALSO people harassing and threatening her life is dramatically different than her just not hiring someone.
@@HaleyStark. She's still a black female, only more than a decade older. At the root of what happened to her was racism and discrimination and she's now condoning discrimination. You can't spin that to the positive no matter how hard you try.
Her discussion isn't based on innate characteristics though. She never said based on sex, gender, or sexual orientation so she isn't doing what was done based on skin color.
@@bpdmf2798 she said “looks like a freak.” Can you define that for her? You sure she wasn’t talking about someone like Brittney Griner, with 100% innate characteristics as a reason people call her a freak or a man? I’m just not so sure of your defense.
Nice. So she admitted on camera that she discriminates in her hiring practices. Anyone who has applied to Turning Point or one of her companies and was turned down now has a legitimate case against her for discrimination.

I am too proud of my heritage to let someone speak badly about me or my family. Its just plain wrong. Candace had that traumatic experience and she then internalized that its better to be a white facing person, than accept and love your own community, other communities etc. Just because you love your own culture does not mean you hate another, you can love all of them simultaneously.
How the hell does a "man wearing a dress and painting his fingernails" correlate to preying on children? "society would be safer if we discriminated more" ... how the hell can a POC even say something like that?
C. Owens is deliberately conflating the concept of being selective with the concept of illegal discrimination. It's a very dishonest way of debating a point, which explains why she is so comfortable doing it.
It's a permission structure for her low-brow audience to not evolve past their base instincts and remain in their conservative bubbles where it's safe and comfortable for them. That's why they hate colleges, because they teach you how to not act like this if you come from a part of the country where diversity isn't a thing
She claims to be so truth and conscious, why would she trust anyone else to raise her children?! Expectually when you know a lot of people hate you. Does you nanny need to claim to be Conservative?
It's not "cizz" Candace it is "cis". She has lost the definition of discrimination. All her examples, she is being selective but if uses first impressions instead of skills, experience & references that could be discrimination.

The way she talks about trans and gender non-conforming people is almost verbatim how people talked about gay people 20 years ago, and about black people 50 years ago (obviously not everyone then, and obviously still plenty of people today)

Ok, Candace, consider the following. Let's say you have a business. One of the employees, a trusted insider, steals all the business funds. Maybe it was a good friend or a close relative that you hired because you trusted them. Maybe a highly recommended job applicant that you hired. You only hire trustworthy people? Would the thief most likely be someone you trusted or would it most likely be someone you did not trust? You do the math! Just in case you can do the math, but not the arithmetic, here it is. If you do not trust someone, you do not let them into your business in the first place. If you trust someone, you let them in and give them access to your business resources. The insider thief is always a trusted insider, someone you trusted.

@@Jimmy1982Playlists EXACTLY. mANY PEOPLE think Owens is smart because she speaks fast with articulation, but most of the time she is incorrect and simply doesn't know what she is talking about.
So true! At an old job bartending, the boss switched to a POS register to better track sales and the drawer opening, because money was going missing from the old classic style cash register. It was a little nerve-racking because we all worried that he thought one of us was stealing from him, but we knew a few of us definitely weren't as we were loyal hardworking employees who loved the job and made good money in tips. He eventually found out that it was his best friend, business partner/ manager stealing the money! He would push the "No Sale" button to open the drawer and pocket cash when he was working alone! He figured that he'd never be suspected, and the boss would blame one of us bartenders. The person my boss trusted the most, next to his wife, was the one thieving! Needless to say, he was fired, pushed out of the business, and their friendship was over.
The linguistic argument is both true and entirely beside the point. Yes, the way we use the word "discrimination" elides the important distinction, which is "unjust" or "illegitimate". Not discriminating when hiring, for example, means that you would hire literally anybody who applies. The question is what forms of discrimination are justified, and pointing out that not all forms of discrimination are bad is not a justification for all forms of discrimination. Pre-fame Candace could have, and very well might have, faced unjust discrimination in hiring as both a black person and a woman; she certainly faced racial harassment and intimidation, but since empathy is for suckers, she sees no parallel between what she faced and what trans people are facing. As a final note, having said everything that she did, I'm sure she'll complain about discrimination against white people, or conservatives, or Christians, or whatever, within a day.
Pre-fame Candace Owens literally sued her high school (and got a settlement) for racial discrimination, with the help of the ACLU. She couldn't be a bigger hypocrite if she tried. Edit: Correction, it was with the help of the NAACP, not the ACLU.
