I use this wax a far bit, along with 6006 - being Australian, it is comparable in price to 6006 and 464. It is super easy to work with, has really good hot and cold throw, and it simply a great wax. I have used HTP, CDN and wood wicks and all work really well. In terms of ease of use, I find it to be as user friendly as 6006 but the flakes make it easier to measure. Thanks again for another great vid Jeff.

Hi, I've just started using A05 Cocosoy Wax. I'm in Australia and have found like you said, it's great with glass vessels. It's so smooth and glossy, no frosting. I bought a kit originally from Aussie Candle Supplies, which came with Golden 464 wax which I found frosted extremely bad in my glass jars. I didn't like it at all so I quickly ordered myself some A05 wax. I found the CDN 8 Wicks (Aussie Candle Supplies) were great in small glass and tins, about 4.5cm up to 6.5cm. I tried ACS 7.0 Cotton Braid Wicks in the same size jars but found the burn pool didn't reach the edge. I have a range of wicks on order and can't wait to try them in some larger tins too. Thank you for your videos, I will continue to watch them and how you find your liking the A05 Cocosoy Wax. Look forward to some tips also. Keep up the good work, all the way from Australia. Regards Kristina.

I find Denali CocoSoy (by summit wax) *the* best coconut soy blend I’ve tried to date. It’s the only one I buy now. Smooth tops, never ever uneven at all. No sinkholes. It’s just a really superior blend. It can ever so slightly pull away from the side after setting but that has never caused me issues with sinkholes. Colours beautifully and has a great CT. HT is a bit better than if using just soy wax

@@hoptoit5910 Denali is very hard to get, I'm assuming that's why. :) It's definitely on my list as I didn't realise that M12 has petroleum jelly in it. I'm trying to to stay as natural as I can. I will definitely try it as soon as I can get my hands on some. Thank you for your feedback. :)

Hi there, I actually live around the corner from LCS and bought my first batch of A05 from them. I'm getting a lot of issues with bubbling and cracking. The top layer of my candles look like the craters of the moon and I'm just wondering with your experience, what that could be from? I havnt bought my wicks from them, but everything else if from LCS. Do you think the wicks may have caused this issue? And what wicks have you found that best suit A05? I also noticed in the video that you added the fragrance almost immediately after you took the wax off, is that recommended? Sorry about all the questions.

Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has had any issues with the cocosoy wax sweating? I have made about 10 candles in ceramic vessels with no scent & double wood wicks, that just keep sweating. Doesn't look very nice when you are selling them in a new shop. Not sure if I need to heat them up first? I live in Australia and the weather can change quite dramatically. It's much cooler now and am about to make some candles in the white tins to see how they go. Should I be heating my vessels up everytime I use them and what temperature are people adding their fragrance and your pouring temp. Would love some advice as I ended up buying 15kg of this wax as the first lot was amazing!. TIA. Krissy.

What % Fo are you using? I use this wax too and live in super hot/humid area so I'm aware of the sweating issue. I usually don't go more than 8% with this wax. I find that if I do, it sweats.

@@kimberleymcneil307 I actually started with no FO, which I found quite strange. I've now switched to Golden 464 Wax, it's amazing! Pour it at 70 degrees Celsius and got the smoothest top and no sweating at all ,even with colour and 8 % FO. So I'm pretty happy but it's also winter here now. 😁

@@madonnasalama5764 Hi, I stopped using it. Didn't matter what temp, how I poured, when I added fragrance I just couldn't work with it so I ditched it. I was using 464, found it temperamental also, especially sink holes. Tried C6, C3 & Kerasoy. Just wanted a wax I didn't have to touch up all the time. I have just started using Ecosoya CB Advanced which sets beautifully but I've noticed it sweats a little too. 😔 I'm trying M12 Ultimate Soy Solution. M12 is the MST Ultimate Wax Additive blended with A05 Superior Cocosoy. It's firmer and great for warmer climate. So far it's a WINNER!! Sets beautifully! Hot & cold throw is great, no issues so far. 🤞Hope this helps. 😊

@royalladybug30
@royalladybug30 3 года назад
Technically, Paraffin gives the strongest scent, parasoy is strong and coconut also does really well. How the wax is heated, when the FO is added, percentage and cure all contributed to the strong scent. The strength of the FO also had an impact.

Why do some suppliers sell stuff that doesn't work? Why do some suppliers not even have a manual for their product? And then when you ask about it you get a reaction: You have to test it a bit... Like wth you made that product you should exactly know how I should process your product.

what are you referring to? If you are talking about A05 ... go to Luxury Candle Supplies in Australia and the recommended temps ect or even go to All Seasons Wax and find the comparison chart on their waxes. Candle making is not as simple as people think ... testing is absolutely crucial. My friend & I use different size wicks and our results are different because we live in different places.
