I welcome mushroom as long as it doesn't soot. I have bought good candles that mushroom and I still love them. Actually they are easier to maintain because they can be trimmed with the finger just by removing the little ball, it falls super easily. Some wick types just do that, it's OK

Any wick I tried is mushrooming, is so weird! Ok I've not tried all of them series, but hey I was testing it even withought any fragrance, so what's the problem then🤔tried a05 cocosoy, pure soy by london luxury supply, and ecosoy... waxes... Tried different sizes aswell. The wick which is not mushrooming is tunneling then...so confusing

Hi, love all you videos.😍 I am having issue with have a smooth top after burning this wax. It has lots of dips on the surface. HT and CT on point. This is the only issue for me.

Hi my lovely! Firstly thank you so much for your support , so grateful 🤍Yes, I definitely can relate. I had a rough tops aswell , have you tried lowering fragrance load? Because When I burnt my essential oils candles at 5% load, it was soo smmmooth! Maybe tried 7% or 8% FL. But also , bare in mind that natural waxes tend to have imperfections like rough tops and frosting! That doesn’t mean your candle is bad quality, its the very much opposite! I hope this helped! How weird, i used apple cinnamon from cosy owl with eco 10 wick in A05 and got next to no HT. The burn itself was perfect in every way, I just couldn't smell anything. Another perfect video 🥰

I am sorry that you didn’t get any HT , High five 🖐 ahah for testing the same wick and fragrance oil! Hopefully in the next burn you can smell it , maybe try a lower pouring temperature? I poured at 55 degrees for that one. See if that helps! Thank you so much for your support lovely , I appreciate you 🥰🥰

I am currently testing this wax, i've use TCR wicks and CL wicks. I'm disappointed with how the candle is burning and i'm not getting much HT either, even when the candle was in my small bathroom. I'm glad it isn't just me as i thought i was doing something wrong and couldn't figure it out. I think i'm going to try some other wax's to compare. Thank you Mawaheb for another great video.

@@gemmaeldergill431 Hello lovely , I am so sorry about your experience and thank you for taking time out of your evening to watch my video. You are never alone in any experience with candle making wether its good or challenging, there is always someone who may be going through similar things as you. Maybe try pouring at lower temperatures, maybe cure your candles for a week or so before burning maybe that can help! I burnt these candles two weeks after making them. I wasn’t really planning to cure them but I knew I was going to make this video so I saved them. Testing different waxes definitely helps to compare and see what wax works best for you. Keep testing , keep going , you are doing well & if there is anything else that you need you are always more than welcome to ask! You are not alone in this ❤️

Unfortunately they have been curing for more than 2 weeks However i made another batch to test with a different FO a few days ago and actually poured them at a lower temp. With this batch the CT is better, figures crossed that means the HT will also be better. It's very difficult to wait so long ha. I love that you are testing so many different wax's, you have great information which is a big help. It isn't easy to find uk based candle makers on RU-vid, i'm glad i found your channel.

This video is 6 months old I know, but did you ever get around to testing other wick series with A05? I was looking at the Eco series, you seem to be getting mushrooming with much lower wicks than advised by Cosy, their website recommends Eco12 for a 3" diameter jar, and you're getting mushrooming with Eco 8/10, It does put me off slightly as my assumption is Eco 6 would tunnel? Mushrooming isnt the end of the world, and for the hot throw you're getting I would probably be happy enough with it as a compromise, but wondered if you'd had chance to try other wicks at all for it to save me the time! Thanks as always!

Arent you so sweet, I actually love reading your comments 😭♥️ with A05 I actually haven’t played around with it in a long time , But I made so many candles with it for family and friends and they loved the HT one of the my friends said that their house smelt of coconut for a week ahaha! But wicking 30cl is challenging , I even tried double wicking which worked a little better but i felt my candle was burning a little too fast then recently I have actually been trying to mix waxes for a slower burn! I haven’t tried other wicks for A05 but if you do try other wicks than what I have used then let me know your experience! Eco 6 tunnelled my 30cl , Cosy owl or any candle suppliers advice for wicking is never accurate hahah! Definitely your own individual testing is much more accurate! You are very welcome , its a pleasure! I am so grateful that your finding value from my videos ♥️

I always planned to test myself anyway but figured if maybe you had already tested others it could atleast get me on the right track. Appreciate your reply again! Hello! Stumbled across your channel when looking into the A05 wax. Do you think it is a big improvement on the GW 464 and worth the extra price?

Hellloo! Good question , It’s hard to compare a soy wax and coconut wax but what I would say is coconut wax is harder to wick so you will be spending more in terms of testing but is it worth the extra price , honestly No. I love the wax but the only thing that differentiates 464 from A05 is the fact that it’s coconut & I personally enjoy working with coconut waxes!

@@mawahebhome oh wow really! You don’t notice much difference in the hot or cold throw with the cocosoy? That’s interesting, guess I might just stick with the 464!

@@MarkCampbell7791 No I feel like I have been getting the same hot throw & cold throw. I have never really had you know such a bad hot throw experience with any of the waxes that I have tested but I do suggest that you try it if you are curious! It’s always nice to test, maybe your experience is different than mine!

Paper core wicks are driving me insane. They are just too hot burning.

Have you tried wooden wicks? Maybe they will work better for you?

@@mawahebhome Just a few times, but they are also too intense. But now I prefer non-paper core wicks. I give up with ECO and CD, they are just determined to burn too fast and too hot:-)

@@carolacarola6137 Have you tried TB wicks? Wicking is literally the hardest part in candle making but you will get through it!
