A cozy evening reading and annotating a fun new fantasy with candlelight and soothing lofi music. Grab a book, and let's enjoy a few quiet moments together!
I've lit my maple & pumpkin scented candle (forever wishing it was autumn all year round!) and watching/listening whilst reading Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas, love this video concept ❤
@@sweetteatohightea I‘m only 20 pages in, but it’s quite interesting so far! 🤗 I‘m usually not that much into Vampire stories, but it’s Aprils pick of a book club I‘m in, so I‘ll give it a fair try.. 🤪😇 Let‘s see how the story unfolds!
Sarah J. Maas' ACOTR has been a hard one for me to get into. Since the first book starts so slow. I know I will love the story onces I get past the first half, but cannot bring myself to do that right now. So starting with her other popular series, Throne of Glass. Getting some Hunger Games vibes, but hoping it's not that. lol
ACOTAR picks up towards the end of the first book, and then into the 2nd and 3rd book! With Throne of Glass, there's so much more to come with all the rest of the books - I had no idea how big the world was going to get, so I would highly recommend to keep going! It's a big commitment but so worth it!
I don't understand how you are able to write down your tab subjects before you are reading the book...how do you know which subjects to annotate before you read?
I have a pretty standard annotation system that I use most often. I have the same 5 categories for Fantasy, the same 4 for Romance, etc. Sometimes if I notice I need one more while reading then I'll just go back and add one in!
