The rain could not stop hundreds of residents from Massapequa & Massapequa Park tonight. They came to Brady Park to remember one of their own Jonathan Diller.
On Monday, March 25, Officer Diller was doing his job trying to keep the streets of Far Rockaway safe.
Unfortunately, his life was taken by a career criminal who had over 21 arrests, and just 11 months ago, he was arrested with a firearm, but he was released back on our streets.
Officer Dillar was only 31 years old and was only on the job for three years and already had 39 felony and 30 misdemeanors arrests.
He leaves behind his parents, sister, brother, and his wife and 9 month old son Ryan.
