We just want to thank you for all your videos recommending the Candy Cane Inn. We stayed there recently, based on your vlogs and absolutely loved it (much more than Disney Paradise Pier that we also spent 2 nights at!). We also used MidWil Shuttle after your recommendation and cannot fault them (other than we didn't get a chatty driver!) When we stayed at Anaheim Garden Inn ... they pick up in the same spot as Candy Cane Inn! All the people in line were commenting that we wished the Candy Cane Inn shuttle was ours because the drivers were so much more professional and friendly!
That is interesting. What we noticed, the employees at CCI seemed to be treated like they were family. When editing this video, I was listening to the person driving the trolley and he was talking about history of the hotel and the area. He appeared to really love his job and loved talking to the hotel guests.
@@AnaheimParkTourist There was 1 guy like that at AGI but only in the mornings and a few days! All of the other drivers seemed miserable and even annoyed most of the time! They wouldn't help my wife with anything and didn't talk at all ...
James is the trolly driver Monday to Friday until 3 in the afternoon. He is honestly one in a million. I have been going to the Candy Cane Inn for more than 30 years, he has been there a long time and used to work as a front desk agent, he was so good in that role and the reason why we always went back….his service can’t be beat, not only is he a wonderful person, he loves his job and he loves being of service to people. He is the BEST!! Just a great guy all around!! 😊
@@jodyclarke3863 we absolutely agree! James was fantastic! We even commented how everyone at the CCI has a level of service and friendliness similar to Disney.
We have stayed at the Alpine Inn, Desert Palms, and Candy Cane multiple times, all back up to Car's Land and we have never heard noise from the park. The park has to prevent as much noise from spilling out from the park as possible. That is why Incredicoaster has a tunnel on its tracks, to contain the screams!
I have to say that I really like the design of this room. These rooms look much more updated than some of the rooms at the Magic Kingdom. It is crazy. LIKE 22. 👍👍👍
We were already sold on the Candy Cane Inn standard room from your previous video. We really want to check this one out some day. It looks like such a nice room - especially when the floors are clean. And I love the late check out. Especially if our flight is late in the day, it is nice to sleep in a bit and enjoy breakfast in our room and not have to rush to leave only to have no where to go for hours. Thanks for sharing your experience here with us!

The premium rooms are also the only rooms with a microwave oven! I normally stay in their standard room when I travel alone and it’s plenty of room for me. In August, there were three of us so I booked the premium room and it was fantastic! I’m so sorry your bathroom floor was overlooked! Our room was spotless. All of the trolley drivers are amazing! We were there for four days and met at least three drivers. I book several months in advance because this is the only place I’ll stay now ❤
We forgot to mention the microwave!! We absolutely loved the breakfast delivery. It got our sleepy teens out of bed. Lol. They ate while Jim and I got ready. And then Jim and I ate while our boys got ready. It worked perfectly and it was nice not to rush to get ready to make it to breakfast. Lol. Fantastic review, the room is huge and very well appointed. The dirty floor in the bathroom wasn’t a good look, have standards fallen? The free breakfast is a winner, great selection and saves money too.
We think the floor was skipped. Maybe the person cleaning got called away and forgot? It seemed so odd since the rest of the room was sparkling clean. It would not deter us from staying there again. ☺️

I like the candy cane, but they’ve gone a bit over their head with their prices heading into next year. $350 a night for a motel? No thanks. I don’t know if it’s the popularity of this place, but I would not pay that much to stay there.
Unfortunately, a lot of the hotels in that section of harbor are very expensive now. It’s getting harder and harder to find a good deal at a hotel that is walking distance. We are paying that much a night at hojo in November with no breakfast, once we add in the parking fee. It stinks to pay that much. Thank you for watching!
