@@Namehere129LMAO! Hahahaha thats how irrelevant benavides is.. hes got casuals asking for some spotlight. youre literally asking another fighter to give you “a chance” 😂😂😂😂 if Benavides read that shit he’d be offended 😅 WHEN that fight happens, because it will… canelo is gonna beat the brakes off him and im coming back to shit all over you on this thread 😂😂😂😂
La raza don’t like canelo because he only fights the encounters he consider convenient for him 💰 . With the least risks of losing or been hit . Not like Cesar Chavez and Juan Manuel Marquez and most of Mexican champions .
@@MalitoSChe didn’t even use his defense much. He definitely has the best defense and head movement in the game. He just doesn’t use it much anymore because he’s a tank
Huge respect to both men. Mexicans are always absolute warriors in the ring, and once again, Canelo reminded the world why he's one of the most skilled and exciting boxers of this generation. - much respect, from a Ukrainian 🇺🇦 💪🇲🇽
@@sinistergzzz1341 He didn't train properly for Ryder coming off surgery. And Smith was way to big for Smith. The fact that Canelo beat him is impressive alone. You a straight hater bro.
Y'all are such boxing noobs. Canelo still had to respect the power of Mungia. Right up to the end. He fought a very careful and tactical fight leaving nothing to chance.
Canelo is a beast. He is not just powerful, he is quick and a wise boxer. He dominated all other boxers except Dmitry Bivol. One has to appreciate how good Bivol is as a boxer.
Bivol showed him another level to boxing. That gas tank of his, plus relentless pressure and distance management was just too much for Canelo. I can't even recall a round Canelo won in that fight. Bivol was just too dominant with his Soviet style. Styles make fights... Canelo wants to be close to hurt you. Bivol on the other hand prefers to hurt you from a distance. There was no way Canelo was winning that fight.
@@ehimareaigbokhaevbo1669is that Bivol turned down the rematch for another payday😂? He didn't show no other level of boxing. He just let his hands go and Canelp couldn't cuz he was injured.
@@DoctorEduardo Same HATERS that say Canelo fought an OLD 35 year old Golovkin but praise Benavidez for beating a 36 year old 🗑️🗑️C level OVERRATED Andrade..
@Psycho_Like_Micho I agree. I don't see why people discredit Canelo for fighting a 35 year old GGG. You're considered old once you're 36+. Keep in mind that GGG is an athlete with the condition of someone who's 20.
Bro Canelo’s counters are so fast and explosive even at this stage of his career which makes him more cerebral and experienced truly one of the greatest 🐐🥊🇲🇽
@@myhatmygandhi6217 name one Mexican fighter that’s better? Let’s stop being biased this is not a popularity contest if we’re speaking facts no other Mexican fighter has achieved more than Canelo haven’t beaten more champions than canelo haven’t fought in more weight classes, hasn’t fought as many hall of farmers than Canelo I don’t wanna hear JCC is better because his not.. more popular in the Mexicans eyes.. yes but if u putting stat for stat who has done more in the sport as far as Mexican fighters go? , yea Canelo is in a league of his own 🇲🇽
Canelo is a new generation Mexican fighter, I really like how empowered he feels and how smart he is. I hope he can bring new boxes to his level and not just in the ring but also in society. Go Canelo.
I think he’s starting to conserve energy more by blocking and parrying. His chin holds up so he doesn’t need to duck and dodge nearly as much and gas himself out
@@Boosiefade123 usually PBC post the entire fights after 1 year of the fight date, that's why buddy on the 1st comment said "it's been a year already?" Surprisingly they released this fight with the fight just being a month aago.
Munguia improved insanely a lot with Freddie, and was able to put Canelo in trouble several rounds. He can still improve way more, and that is the scary part.
Yes mungia had some nice combos here and there BUT Canelo was never in trouble pal. Mungia almost got dropped like 3 times besides the actual knockdown. Once with a liver shot once with a straight right and once with a left hook. Get your fake ass statement out of here. Mungia was the only one ever in trouble
@@barbarianmylaststand3918 One thing about canelo is that a LOT of punches thrown at him even if they land they dont land super clean. Not to say he doesn't get hit hard here and there but its surprising how much damage he his able to mitigate with his defense.
@@BIGTIME-uq3ghanyone canelo fights is a cherry pick to haters but yall contradict yall selves every fight seems a cherry pick cuz canelo is just at another level goofys and yall admit it by saying he cherry picks when drogavidez hasnt fought a single world champion and only has had an interim belt despite being at 168 for 3 years and from who direll another nobody that drogavidez cherry picked and then lets not forget how he is a natural 200+ pounder fighting 168 fighters that are washed or straight up just not good and still has trouble knocking them out after all of this tell me how is drogavidez not the real duck and cherry picker
Man those punches that mungia threw in the last seconds of round three ,didnt even didnt even budge canelo that monster granite chin canelo has that’s impressive wow.
@@gonzadoban7491 he got hit good those fights but his head never snapped back like that from a punch, maybe you could make a argument for when he went against golovkin
Pretty high intensity fight with Canelo's reflexes slightly slipping but good performance from Canelo overall and respect to Mungia: tough, strong and good work rate. Will be one to watch for the future
Down to earth champion. With his comment on not being the best boxer ever. Needless to say he'll rank high in history. Tough fight here on both sides. Thank you !
@@jaydenvu7203Munguia can definitely make a Benavidez fight 50/50, it will depend on who can be the better counter puncher and after Munguia’s excellent effort against canelo I am not sure Benavidez can win easily.
@@ericktellez7632🤣🤣🤣. I’d like to bet my whole house that mungia don’t even hurts Benavides. Mungia is a hypejob with a padded record . Mungia the same bum that went life and death with a 38 year old dervechanko. I think it’s safe to say Benavides whoops bum mungia
What a Great Fight, Great win against a guy thats undefeated & Mungia seems to throw more than Benavidez. This was a good test to prepare for Benavidez 🔥🇲🇽
....you clearly dk much about boxing if you think this guy is good. It was a easy fight for canelo. And mungina stats are paddie. It's not hard to go with a 0 for a long time in boxing.
@@justvibing2497 Benavidez has a padded record only beat one former champ & that's Caleb Plant maybe Anthony Dirrell which was average at best. Canelo beating Benavidez ass & I also got Munguia beating him
I don’t understand why Munguia likes to hunch down when he engaged making himself an easier target of Canelo’s counter punches. He Bivol uses his height and length much better from the distance. His corner should have made the adjustment by controlling the distance.
Очень понравилась работа передней рукой , (левой), джеб и крюк, Канело! Надëжная защита, дистанцию чувствует просто по миллиметрам, очень красиво! Спасибо!
Canelo your a true gentleman you didn’t plan on destroying that young Mexican kids dream you are the best pound for pound fighter in the world you are the best love from England 🇬🇧🏴
Antes de la pelea Oscar dijo que Jaime ganaba la pelea por ser más joven y que tiraba entre 60 y 70 golpes por Raund, pero Canelo Álvarez esta en otro nivel.
Munguia was winning the small exchange like the jabs but Canelo clearly had the cleaner punch. I thought Munguia was winning until he got knowdown . Even after the knockdown he still did good against Canelo because he ate so clean shots and still was going forward being aggressive.
This was a great performance by canelo. From The lead left hooks. The pull -upper cuts. The combinations🔥 left hook, right upper cut bang. Left hook. I dont see that combo alot. Canelo skill set is highly underated. He may be not be springing on his feet. But he gets the job done!!!!! From round 5 on he hurt mungia at will. And could have stopped him at any point. But he let the young fella last the ride i respect that.!!!
Oscar told munguia to fight Canelo just like Bivol. One little detail he forgot, Jaime isn't Bivol. Great fight by both Mexican men. David benavides won't last the whole 12 rounds vs Jaime Munguia.
both fighters fought a good fight... obviously Canelo has the biggest experience and know how.... congratulations to Canelo.... love and respect to Munguia
I THINK IM SPEAKING FOR ALOT OF FANS RIGHT NOW BUT THANK YOU PBC FOR ALWAYS UPLOADING THESE FULL FIGHTS GOLDEN BOY JUST UPLOADED BRONER AND MAIDANA AND LOOK HOW LONG THAT WAS AGAIN THANKS GUYS MUCH LOVE FROM EAST LA 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Munguia’s a great fighter but he was def speeded up and as soon as it started to wear off after 3 rds Canelo started hitting him w/ his full strength, and those 2 factors through him off a little bit.
51:48 when Canelo lands the left hook and right hand and saves Munguia by holding him immediately… once the ref breaks them up I see Canelo nodding to someone ringside, wonder who it was. It’s a neutral corner
Canelo is a technical boxer his counter punching power is terrible. His upper cut and left hook is devastating. His granite chin is the best asset in the ring. Unlike benavides he has experienced a knockdown in his previous fight. I think i'm favored to Canelo's experienced and patience calculating his opponent's movement and throws huge combination that might surprise benavides.
Excellent fight. It has been incredible to watch Canelo mature over the course of his career into, now, the mature fighter. Munguia brought the enthusiasm of a young fighter and will certainly take some lessons from this contest.
I still find it mind blowing this guy has insane talent standing up all rounds with canelo taking blow after blow and standing up after a knockout? He has dat dawg in him
