My EDC I picked this up and have shot over 4000 rounds through it. Multiple brands of ammo and never had an issue. Love the break on the trigger. Sights are a little getting used to. One thing I found i like the most is the reset on the trigger for shorter follow up shots. After 4000 rounds my spring is as smooth and stiff as day one. The sights are good for practicing reloading one handed edge racks or pocket belt racks. Great gun I like this better than any of my custom builds and not that I'm not saying it will out perform but hey it will out perform most guns! Thank you for doing a review on this!!!

When I bought mine, I swore that they built this pistol just to address every problem with a Glock. Extremely good trigger, quality sights(I don't need a Glock to come with Ameriglo's, but obviously like this, it can come with better than what Glock uses), a better grip angle and at a customer friendly price.

I have owned this gun for 2 years now and absolutely Love it!! My only complaint at first was that it wasn’t a Glock but after a few rounds I was happy!!

I have carried the glock 27 for years. Watching your videos and everyone else's on RU-vid, I have switched to 9mm for a few reasons. I saw the canik fp elite sc with the shield sms2 at a local gun shop. I had to buy it, so I did and got it dialed in. 600 rounds, the trigger is so nice. I have put the glock on the bench.

Love the review Bruh! I have a tricked out Glock 17 gen 4, price with mods $1,200. I bought the Canik TP9SF Elite for $329, shoots better than my Glock! Choice between spending time with my lady and pulling that Canik trigger....have to get back to you babe...lol. Seriously it is a sweet shooting pistol. If you miss, it's you not the pistol.

I was literally introduced to this gun yesterday shot it never felt so in tuned with a firearm then i was with the elite. i was very impressed never heard of the brand canik before, definitely getting one in the near future...

Canik pistols are money. I own the TP9SFX and it's my favorite pistol so far. Haven't had any issues with mine yet. I've put abouy 5000+ rounds thru mine. I'd highly recommend it.

The one take away, "the trigger"... a buddy introduced me to Canik's and now own two TP9sf an a TP9SFx. Yes I still think of the "triggers"...

Love mine, G17 slide length, G19 grip length gotta love the recoil impluse! And yes that trigger is money.

Well Colin, I was looking at this gun and a compact Ruger 9mm. So after watching this video and one other video about this gun. I went and purchased the Canik TP9SF Elite S. I am so happy I did. Your were spot on about the Trigger! The brass eject almost straight up, and fell at my right side. So finding the brass and collecting them was a piece of cake. I have a 1911 45acp and the brass fly almost every wear, I reload which is why I recollect. But the Gun is fantastic, thank you for your review, your comments about the trigger is a big reason why I got this gun, I value your opinion. Thanks

Great review! I bought mine over a year ago. No issues at all. The trigger is awesome!!! I use it as my EDC.

Traded an XD tactical for a brand new one and do not regret it, ever. The thing is beautiful and goes bang every single time you squeeze that crispy, tasty trigger. Most of the hate that I find for this pistol is brand racism. Best pistol for the money, the end.

Bought my Canik TP9SF-Elite back in May 2019 and really like it ...

I own the regular TP9SF in tan. It’s been a great pistol so far. Love the trigger, haven’t had a malfunction yet after about 500 rounds.

Colion! Please do the Steyr M9! It has trapezoid sights, EXTREMELY low bore axis, super high grip, amazing ergonomics, great trigger, recoils like a .380, made by a former glock employee, it's all around amazing

I bought my first Canik nearly three years ago. Since then I've put over ten thousand rounds through it. Zero issues except the sights. Eyes not good enough to deal with them being blacked out, so I put on three dot sights and love it. So much so that I bought a a second Canik about a month or so ago. Same sights so I replaced them too. The second one is a DA with a decocker. Same flawless performance, same accuracy . All I'm waiting on now is for Canik to ship in the forty caliber and it's happy time all over again. Great gun, great price, great deal.

I have the TP9SA,SF and this gun. All the Caniks have the best trigger over every hand gun I own..M&Ps, CZ and Sigs. You can’t beat these guns for what they cost. I think they’re under priced and amazed no one at Canik has figured that out. Not that I’m complaining about it mind you. Also, they are reliable as all get out !!!

The TP and the SF have a whole new meaning to me after your trigger description. I'm leaning towards more T than S.

I got this $350 today IN STORE. Insane... Already ran about 400 rounds at the range then bought it, went back in to try a box out. Immediately shot better than I was earlier. 3 inch groups first 2 mags at 10 yards with no zingers. Went through the whole 50 with no issues while staying in the same grouping. This is on top of only being used to the white 3 dots sights they use on other guns. This gun literally cannot be beat for the price.

My wife has the TP9SFX and she loves it. One of the only full size 9mm that fits her hands. I have to say, it's one of the best factory triggers I've played with. Love the reset.

I bought the V2 when it first came out. Excellent. Watching all the changes and now THIS. A compact. Getting one.

I sold my TP9SF Elite for financial reasons, but I'd like to get another one in the future. It was a great pistol and a good value in my opinion.

The biggest pro not mentioned is the elite's extended ambi slide release that balances ability to use the release and still conceal the pistol.

Such a fantastic firearm! I think people are catching on to how good they really are. I just got a TP9SFx, and it was kinda hard to find one. Had to buy one with a Vortex Viper included, which i didn’t really want, but everyone was out of stock on them.

Nice review. I've had the Elite for almost 2 years now. Its my EDC. Great shooter. I also have the SF which was my very first firearm and I have the TP9 SFL that was given to me at the NRA show this year. All exceptional triggers. Excellent shooters.

I got this gun as my first one and I love it dude... I even put a reduce safety plunger spring in it and boy I'm telling you, trigger is even better now.

You probably get asked this a lot but, is the gun range yours ? It's probably the coolest thing I've seen, as far as gun ranges.

I have the TP9SF (basically the Glock 17 version) and I love it! It's my carry gun, it's a little large for concealed carry but I can get away with it (I'm a big boy 6'3 245) but I'm saving up a little to get the Elite after I finish my AR that I'm currently working on. Love the content, and as far as aesthetics go, I think I kinda looks a little Walther-ish kinda like a PPQ with a different sense of style.

I have the SC Elite and I absolutely love it. First time I shot it I was hitting bullseyes up to 20-25 yards with incredible ease. Way more natural to shoot than a Glock imo. Love the trigger and the price point. The model I have doesn't have the fiberoptic site. It's a white dot on the front site. I'd love to see you do a review of that model and see what you think.

I just got a Canik Rival a couple of days ago - it's the trigger !!! I totally agree with ya Colion. I love the way it shoots, I may switch my carry from my Glock 17 to the Canik.

It is like the M&P had a love child with the PPQ and in came the Canik. I Love the trigger on that Elite even better than the VP-9.

I bought this gun when it was first released. Had a few problems. FTE and overall weak ejection. Canik sent me a new recoil spring assembly... no charge, free shipping. That fixed the problems. Switching over to 124 grain ammunition made it even better. Turns out that this pistol was designed specifically for 124 grain ammo. I own the PPQ, VP9, S&W 2.0, G19 and a few others. None of them have a trigger that works as well as the Canik. None. I share Colion's impression that the trigger guard could be slightly more recessed. 1/16th inch would make a huge difference. The Warren sights work well, and get better with practice. Overall ergonomics are excellent. Slide lock/release is excellent. Magazine release is excellent. Canik offers an extended 17 round magazine for this pistol. Magazine price is comparable to Glock. Maybe a buck or two cheaper. The pistol ships with a kydex paddle/belt holster. The holster is mediocre quality, but gives you something that works right out of the box. I've seen this pistol sell for $365. The quality of the gun caused me to explore two other Canik products; the TP9SFX and the TP9DA. The SFX is their optics ready, competition' model. For less than $500, it has proved an incredibly worthy competitor. The TP9DA (double action) is nothing short of amazing. Same fantastic trigger, DA/SA selection option and decocker. Behaves like a smooth hammer fired gun with all the benefits of a striker fired weapon. These newer Canik offerings deserve more attention than they are getting. The newly released Canik TP9SF Elite Combat is about five miles of tactical wizardry.
