Got mine last week, both mags lock in, contact canik and they will send you a new mag. Also they aren't listed yet, but additional mags are 54.99 for the 21 rounder
Until recently I was dismissive of Canik pistols, looking at reviews for other makes. But You Tube got saturated with positive TTI reviews enough to convince me of what to buy next time I decide to buy a full-sized pistol.
I was shooting my SS MR920P, then switched to my TTI Combat, then went back to my MR920P. I can tell you right now that the TTI Combat affords you the ability to be less attentive on sight, grip, trigger squeeze, because their trigger is soooo crisp and has minimal reset right there at 90⁰.
@derreckokdwell for carry, everyday use, and range play, definitely the MR920P. It's all around good and feels better in the hand (for smaller hands). I bought it to replace my LEO issued Glock 45. If you have that type of pistol meeting those needs and are looking to just add a pistol to the collection for range play, then go with the TTI Combat because it's fast and fun out of the box.
My local gun shop just called me this morning at 930 am and said 1 of their distributors just got 1 in and if i want it, its mine, so i said ahh YEA ....
I picked mine up last week. I have about 100 rounds through it. I haven’t had any issues is shoots well. But at the end of the day, I think I may steel frame and hammer/2011 guy. Not sure if it will become a safe queen or get rid of it. It is my first canik so I may try to pick up Rival s and see how that works out
@@9MilRidge I didn't think they fit but it was just the pre-applied loctite that was making it feel funny. It's on the gun and good to go. Thanks for the reply!
No, but it's height over bore is fairly tall like the Sig P320. There is definitely flatter shooting guns but I like the mix that it offers of competition/carry. Also the trigger is definitely forgiving.
The comp isn't magic. It's not going to make your pistol shoot flat if your grip sucks. It reduces muzzle rise by about 25% if you do your part. My dot never leaves the window when I shoot.
Hello so i just got one yesterday and I have never had a compensater and ported barrel.. are there any bullets to stay away from? Reading on my blazer brass box dont use in ported barrels????
Pretty much any major brand that doesn't have that warning you can run in it. I believe the CCI Blazer brass is just coated lead and not plated lead, which is why it's possible to run into issues. It's up to your discretion, but I have ran the 9mm blazer in multiple comped and ported pistols and have had no issues. Most common ammo I run is federal and Fiocchi.
I got the tp9 sfx and the sfx rival-s chrome and cant feel any shooting difference between the two. The rival-s obviously weighs more but the recoil is identical. Getting this one this week and will compare all 3
@@9MilRidge So i picked it up today ... wow So i had the tp9-sfx, the rival-s chrome and this tti combat side by side. The tp9 sfx had the normal recoil and lift The rival-s chrome had less recoil and lift than the tp9 sfx, guessing because of the extra weight, but i didnt actually realize until today because last time i tried the 2, i ran each one with a full mag so after 20 rounds of tp9 sfx then going to the rival-s, it felt the same. This time i did 1 round per gun and this time i FELT a difference between the 3. The tti combat had LESS recoil and less lift than the rival-s and its lighter in weight, i was in shock.
@@bradcolby1 We have a limit of 15 rounds. I have a canik sfx, whose magazine was reduced to 15 rounds after purchase, but it’s not scary and we have a ban on muzzle compensators. So I’m wondering what class this pistol falls under and is still illegal in Illinois suppressor and pistols for which it can be used install with protruding threaded barrel
What do you mean special order? For example, I walked into my small FFL 3 weeks ago and asked if they will be getting any TTI’s by or on release day. They said they might get a few before and I was the first to ask to be put on a waiting list. On April 19th I got the call and out of 3 that came in that day I got the first one and of course at MSRP. Many have inquired about this gun weeks in advance and got them in early or on release day with no problem.
What did you pay? MSRP was to be$949. I looked at the usual places on line and local stores and seems everyone is asking $1200 to $1400. Not worth that and it is price gauging. So no go for me till sanity returns.
If you find it at a normal sporting good store should be $900 $950 (depending on your state). Because it's new and popular, everyone always marks it up, online especially. I agree it's super annoying!
Nice review but not buying you paid under msrp..mine was 50 over and my bruh loves me. Calling bs on that, great firearm though just wish slide would've run on rival s frame
It's not the red dot sight. I have this gun and I have the same issue with the slide not racking all the way. I don't have a red dot on it at the moment just iron sights. I thought it was just a one off with my gun but looks like you are having the same issue I am.@@9MilRidge
Shut up dude. You’re definitely butt hurt by Turkey/Turkish people for whatever reason.. you’re commenting on all TTI Combat videos the same shit. And your grammar is trash meaning you’re probably from a whatever country and don’t even own a firearm. Sit down 🤦🏻♂️
