I usually agree with all your wonderful information, however i do not feed my dog corn...even organic corn. Corn lingers in the digestive tract, hangs around and ferments. Also corn has issues with mycotoxins/aflotoxins. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and i did it with diet and environmental changes. Thank you for all the incredible videos!!!

Love this topic, I make all homemade diets for my dog and cats too however, from everything I've read about flax oil, it should never be heated as it is too fragile and will not only lose its healthful benefits but also can turn the fats to harmful compounds. In fact, once the bottle is opened, it should be stored in the refrigerator and used in a timely manner as it tends to go rancid quickly.

I started my Miko on the ketovore diet yesterday. I got her a good quality kibble. The call of the Wild. Grain free. Im giving her raw chicken thigh , beef liver, chicken gizzard, sardines, salmon, a small slice of bacon ,stew meat, and bone broth. For a snack to replace the milk bones, im giving her a frozen chicken wing. She's also getting vitamin E, turmeric, green tea, and prilosec. She has MCT😢

Great suggestion, it is said, and I have personally experienced this, if you do not process the veggies and or fruit (blueberries and pears are great for cancer victims) it goes in one end and out the other. So, a suggestion would be using a food processor and grind up the veggies and fruits, so it is actually digested. I have been feeding fresh wholesome softly cooked meals for my dogs and cats for about 5 to 6 years now, since my research after losing my six Dobermans to cancer.

I was researching this just today. My GSD had teca surgery 1 1/2 years ago and is now showing vestibular disease. He is at the vet as I type this. I am so scared the cancer has returned. corn peas and carrots have carbohydrates. I’d use broccoli,cauliflower or brussel sprouts instead.

I make a gallon of food a week here's a tip boil up some chicken feet in a large pan of water with one cap of apple cider vinegar it makes a jelly that is so good for our pets add one half cup of that to their food each night they love it. I keep mine in glass jars in the fridge and each week make a new batch. My dogs are on mostly a Keto diet.

Thanks to Dr.Jones. From this video, I found the ways to improve my dog's diet, like garlic, flax seed oil and green tea. For some reason, I had idea that garlic was not good for dogs. I really believe in it's health benefits, and now would be adding it in accurate quantity. I am also trying to stick to antiangiogenic diet and supplement plan. It would be really helpful to find out Dr. Jones' opinion on this idea, especially, on medicine mushrooms. I'm going to be searching this channel for this info, or waiting for a video about antiangiogenic diet and supplements. So far, I've learned about the following items that are not harmful for dogs: Q10, Selenium + Vitamin E, Vitamin D3, Aloe Vera, Artemisia annua, Woodworm, Camellia, Reishi, Ginkgo biloba, German camomile, Tulsi, Lavender, Parsley, for Omega 3 we take Hemp seed oil, berries, pumpkin. But scheduling all this and figuring out the right quantities, and, most important, their compatibility... that's the hardest thing for a non-professional.

my 83lbs goldendoodle got his frot limb amputated on may 28th about a week ago due to osteosarcome in front wrist. I dont give him any more kibble. I been feeding dr harveys paradigm food for about a week and he loves it but its too expensive cause I still have to add protein and fats. its costing me about $300 a month. I was looking into sundays and if I read right it will be about $179 for a 144oz box that will last him a whole month. Just dont know about nutritional value.? does my cancer dog needs about one gram of protien per pound of body wight?

I have read that flaxseed oil actually shouldn't be heated... Optimally, you'd be adding it at the end. In addition, chicken is not a particularly high density calorie food (energy density). You would (or should) prefer high density energy protein sources for pets with cancer since their metabolic imbalances tend to lead to cachexia. Peas offen cause gas - which for sick animals probably isn't preferable. Also hoping the "green tea extract" isn't caffeine - because that actually promotes weight loss (which in the case of cancer patients generally isn't recommended). Since there is no evidence it helps fight cancer - not sure why it is added here? So basic guidelines (avoid carbohydrates) is right... Although - strictly speaking - the vegetables used are also carbs from a macronutrient point of view... So it's kind of a contradiction to say... "oh I'm not using carbs" and then add 50% frozen veggies... LOL. Not sure how I feel about the rest.

I work at a holistic vet clinic, dogs who have been diagnosed with cancer we recommend having them on a home cooked Keto diet. Cancer feeds off sugar and needs it to metastasize, you need to starve it out, because there is no sugar in a keto diet, having them on a balanced keto diet stops the cancers growth. The ingredients he is using aren’t ideal, you want to always use fresh ingredients if you can. The veggie mix he is using isn’t very good either, there’s no point in feeding dogs corn or peas as their digestive systems won’t break them down, they’ll just pass it through their stool which in turn is a loss of nutrients, they are also starchy vegetables and corn is bad because it’s GMO, so this is a horrible diet for a dog with cancer.

Ok what about minerals and also that looks like very little food for such a big dog. Is that a balance meal? What about minerals? Also how much protein do you give your dog per day? Was that a one day meal? Sorry for all the questions. I have a standard goldenddodle 83lbs 9 years of age with osteosarcoma. His front limp got amputated a week ago on May 28th. He will start chemo tomorrow. Right now iam feeding him Dr harveys paradigm with protein of choice and fish oil but is like $260 a month:( dog loves it though. Has no more allergies..paradigm is a ketogenic diet too. Iam giving him 5 oz of meat in morning and 5oz in tje evening so 10oz total which is about 84gr of protein daily which is 16oz of Cooked chicken per day.

Thanks for your wonderful videos on how to help our fur babies. However, for the food provided, It would be best to avoid carrots and corn. Sweet potato and other non-hybrid veggies would be good like Green beans, Chayote, Zucchini and preferably organic and feed raw with the other ingredients that will lend flavor like garlic, turmeric, a little ginger, and the oils suggested. Feed the organic chicken and organic veggies (pulverized) raw mixed with the other ingredients. Don't forget to add a teaspoon of finely ground eggshells to the food. If your dog is not transitioned to eat raw, then lightly steam both chicken and veggies and do a slow transition to raw food. Cooked food is dead food and there is no energy in them.

Nice video, but don't like garlic for dogs. Peas r too starchy for dogs and Corn not good for dogs either. Fish and flaxseed oil r good. Don't heat up fish oil or flaxseed oil. Green tea I read was ok, My dog has cancer, i researched broccoli and cabbage and asparagus and green beans and celery and carrots and pumpkin and blue berries and apple and wheat grass and {maitaki Japanese mushrooms (steamed, boiled)} i roast the maitake mushrooms they last longer. Research said raw mushrooms not good for dogs. Alfalfa sprouts steamed or boiled , (raw alfalfa sprouts not good for dogs.) Bone broth is good for the stomach it has pre and probiotics with keep the gut bacteria in balance and the immune system is mostly from the stomach. There are other foods that fight cancer that u can give dogs but research your self and check ur vet. And tell ur vet what ur doing so they know what may interfere with any medications they are giving ur dog. You can also consult with a holistic veterinary, if you can find one that is taking new customers, they seem to be booked up, u can get on their waiting list and maybe you'll get in. Praying for ur dog helps too 🙏🙏🐾🐾🙏🙏.
