Canister Vacuum Motor Filter Replacement 

Thank You, I couldn't remember which way the Motor Safety Filter went in - white side facing the bag. Appreciate it! It's difficult to find replacement filters & belts for our Intuition, bags too. Other brands besides Kenmore do not work well- like ths bags- if we don't use Kenmore brand, the fit is off enough to cause a huge mess, and off brand belts slip.

Thank you! Im ordering filters for my moms old kenmore. The motor filter was coated in matted hair and was absulutley dirty and damaged. Cross my fingers it all works out with that filter and a new exit filter along with some new cloth bags.

My book says the dark filter needs washed, not replaced the white electrostatic filter is the part that must be changed. I’m not sure why you replaced both

Is there a third filter located behind the hepa filter? It looks like some kind of filter back there but I don’t see any videos mentioning it. I don’t want to try and get to it, and risk breaking something, if there isn’t a filter there.

Your videos are great! Wish I had seen them before I did those 2 filter changes. : -)I am having difficulty removing the red canister cover to check the motor. I've been able to remove the 2 screws in the bag area but there's still something else holding the cover down. Can you do a video on how to do that?

Confusing that the fine white filter faces the bag and that the coarse black filter is after that. What’s left for the coarse filter to catch after the air passes through the fine filter?

I have the same vac based on your handle design. The button to unlatch the handle from the wand now does nothing. Have you experienced this problem and is it cost effective to attempt repair?
