I was diagnosed with PD two years ago. I’m 66yo male and started having sleep difficulties due to muscle cramps in my legs and feet. I increased my magnesium intake which seemed to help some. Then I saw this video and purchased some CBD gummies from a local shop here in Washington state. The marijuana industry here is highly regulated throughout the growing stage and the standards are tantamount to pharmaceutical grade. The first night I took it I slept all night with no cramps. I hadn’t realized how much sleep loss I was having with the cramps. I have been experimenting with taking it every other night which seems to be working. When I took it two nights in a row I felt slightly hung over the next morning. Just a very light head ache as if I had been drinking the night before (which I had not). So far no cramps and my tremors have decreased too.
Can I contact you regarding this. Please give a response if u like to contact me. My father is suffering from PD. We are going 3 years of treatment. But no use till now. If u contact me it will be help ful to me and my family
@@AhmedNishadh idk if he’ll respond quickly but I will. I’ve been researching weed for a couple years now. I don’t have pd but I can explain his “hangover” when you take too much your endocannabinoid receptors get used to taking the cbd instead of your brains natural version of that. Leading to some discomfort, maybe a little bit of “brain fog” It’s not at all dangerous. Just a lil uncomfortable. (Stoners call it burnout) I live in Canada where I can buy the stuff anywhere. And have been an advocate for 4 years as it helped me through depression as well. CBD not thc (the medicine not the drug) if you know someone with PD, you can get hemp CBD most places in the world. To add on; it’s not always an immediate fix but it may improve their quality of life.
my uncle has been suffering for about ten years now, seems to have gotten worse lately. ive been searching for ways to help him and this information has brought more hope. thank you
I will never understand why medicinal people still call cannabis drugs. It's a plant that is designed FOR us. That cannot be drugs. We have receptors for the plant to do it's work.
Willing volunteer here. Conventional medications work on some symptoms and not others. I realise PD symptoms present differently in different patients. Gabapentin has helped with a little with my pain and tremors are rare but I seem to freeze a lot and have slow movements. Any fine motor control is almost impossible. Can we please decriminalise cannabis for medical research as they have done in some enlightened places.
Agree. Definitely have had PD at least several years and can’t take many meds bc I’ve lost a lot of weight and already had several allergies. Gabapentin, at lowest dose, makes me fall down due to complete loss of balance. Can take low dose Simonet once daily and still eat. Would like to try Canobis but am so sensitive not sure about pharmaceutical; am 60 and did smoke some home grown in my teens, but nothing stronger. It is illegal where I now live, but think it might help tremors & pain. Maybe in my lifetime it will be legal to try for relief as I’ve suffered arthritis since 2004, so driving is becoming very difficult, as is surviving in general. Been totally disabled since 2004, but was able to keep myself and home in decent order. Not so much anymore. Wishing all dealing with PD comfort and soon, a victory over it. As of now, we have PD, it doesn’t have us, a battle yet to be won. I have other health issues such as vascular, but want to keep life as long as I’m of benefit to anyone. Keep on keeping on. GBU all. ☮️
Here in California all cannabis is legal but the dispensary prices are expensive .In my opinion It shouldn't be taxed for true medical marijuana users.
I have late stage Parkinsons resulting from 50 years of Cirrohsis . The only reason I am able to communicate and walk is a result of taking canna concentrates to treat cancer. It not only cured advanced cancer but replaced opiates for stiffness and pain that was restricting movement. When I delay in taking my medicine I regress rapldy. I just feel a sense of anger when I think of all the people suffering because of the prohibition of this natural medicine for strictly financial reasons.
A guy in our town was diagnosed with lung cancer once. He thought his days were numbered and started to smoke weed heavily to enjoy his last period of life. And the lung cancer was magically disappeared. Just so you know. Marijuana is definitely useful for so many different problems. Surely to keep in mind that "TOO MUCH' is also not good. Just like too much. Cocacola and Fastfood etc
I don't know if this is going to come off as positive or negative, but why does this seem like a highschool/college PowerPoint presentation on the subject?
When anyone else smokes does it cause Parkinson like movements instead of getting rid of it?? I don’t have Parkinson’s but when I smoke and then while I’m high whenever I stand up I have uncontrollable movements VERY similar to Parkinson’s. Does anyone know what the he’ll is going on with me??
I have a friend who has Parkinson's. Medical marijuana is not available in Kansas. How can I help my friend with what is available on the street? What I mean is smoking marijuana effective? Is ingesting marijuana more effective? Should we go to Colorado where marijuana is legal and get edibles? My guess is going to Colorado to get edibles might be the best way to get something repeatable.
I was diagnosed with PD in 2016 and I use medical cannibus daily. I am also an advocate for cannibus for PD. I have held presentations for a couple of PD support groups in SE Michigan. Michigan Parkinsons Foundation/early onset support group being one of them. How a person consumes the cannibis is personal preference really. smoking, edibles, tinctures, pill form, drink, vape are some of the ways but as far as effective it depends what symptoms he/she is trying to treat. The problem with edibles is the correct dosage can be added but how it spreads after it is cooked is never guaranteed to be even. .ie if someone used Rick Simpsons oil(RSO) in a pan of brownies its hard to evenly infuse it. Most of the time edibles are very strong for me and other PD patients but again it is differs from person to person. I start with a lower mg of medicine then work my up and gage how it is effecting me. Same with smoke or vape. I'll take maybe 2-3 hits no effect I'll do another. For myself, it helps with my dystonia(muscle rigidity) which sometimes gets painful. Imagine having a knot in your muscle and not being able to massage it out but more spread out. cannibus reduces that pain significantly for me but when I know the muscles are more relaxed I do stretches or movements I have learned from my Rock Steady Boxing sessions. Depression was bad in the beginning so my PC doc Rx trintallex but I've weened myself off of that because cannibus alleviates that symptom. Tremors are reduced when I take it too. Common question I get is do I need to be stoned all day? For me no, I do other things like box, walking, stretches exercises all of which helps increase my dopamine which we unfortunately lack.. At my presentations I unveil the truth of how & why it got criminalized plus I even bring copies of US government patents on cannibinoid to prove to my audience that hypocrisy of them keeping it federally illegal. It's a shame there are still states view it as a crime in my opinion. I have videos saved on my channel specifically for cannibus & PD so anyone is welcome to add me and see them. I've used some of the videos in my presentations as well. Anyways I hope this helps.
although the study shows CBDs beneficial effects to parkinson symptoms, I think that they will instead develop inverse agonists with higher potencys, which will work better than CBD (stronger binding, longer lasting). This is because many patients would consider the psychoactive effects of THC to be detrimental (they for some reason dont wanna get high). Also, if THC has no effect on treatment, why not just legalise CBD (as many countries have already done).
CBD hemp is a cousin of the marijuana plant. Looks simular, smells simular, but won't get you high. If CBD hemp isn't helping at all then you can mix in some of the regular THC marijuana to boost the CBD without necessarily getting you high.
They could have spent more time talking about the use of CBD and it's different forms. Oils are superior to smoking it. This is likely the most studied plant in history due to the media twisting and not understanding the difference between THC and CBD all of them are legal in Canada.
Drug is a negative word for cannabis. It's like saying food is also a drug but cmon DEA won't arrest you for consuming too much sugar or giving it to a friend
3. Early symptoms in Parkinson’s disease include rigidity, shaking, slow movement and gait disturbances which can be holistically managed with some diet changes and natural supplements from planet ayurveda.
What you are doing is dangerous and immoral. It could give the impression that the only treatments you need is your unproven remedy. If vulnerable people with predispositions torwards these natural placebos see that and refuse modern evidence based proven medicine it's on you. I don't know how one can look at himself in the mirror when he/she is advocating irrational faith based treatments for an extremely serious and complex disease he/she doesn't understand. I certainly couldn't
@@sheetalmaluja0818 no i haven't, have you? Though i don't have any backround in this field i do have backround in science and know how research and peer review work, and what delegation of authority is. It means when you don't know take the words of those who do know, that being the researchers. And not just any researcher, even if i had a phd in this i would never dream of saying that it makes my opinion an argument, you will always find someone with a phd advocating for bullshit. What is a good reliable position is that of the CONSENSUS of experts in a field, and i would bet that it doesn't reflect what you are advocating for. Think about the consequances of your actions, does the fct you may be wrong ever cross your mind? If not you are delusional, if itdoes how can you not see you are promoting dangerous ideas? I lost a grandma to cancer because of this very attitude. Her uterus cancer was very treatable, but qhe didn't want to be poisoned by modern chemicals and trusted her gurou's diet, cristal, and plant based remedy. Guess what. She died an agonizing death pissing blood in full blown psychosis where she couldn't even recognise her own children. You still think the plant stuff and diet was the solution?
@@sheetalmaluja0818 i haven't done a phd in many things and i will absolutely judge others for doing them. I have no phd in islamic culture and tradition or theology but i feel very fine judging people who stone women to death for cheating and men who mutilate their daughters genitals. Or should i just sut the fuck up until i vave a meaningless certificate and can protest these crimes?
Confucious Kush is the one that targets their parki receptors areas. CBD can used, but not at the same time, because you do not want the CBDV to counteract the THCA from the Confucious Kush Strains, but yes CBD is beneficial to all humans and especially parki patients as well, just so be it they know how to use the 2 in harmony without the CBD decreasing the strength of the THCA. Fish oil, Ginka, Peppermint & a few others affect parki receptors as well, so infusions can be multi-based if the human is willing to open their mind & thinking to real medicine.
Everyone should research a possible connection between Parkinsons and parasites. Parasites, left untreated over decades, will grow in number which I believe is why Parkinsons symptoms occur later in life. The parasites can infect various parts of the body, possibly even the brain where they can disrupt neurotransmitters. This is not medical advice, I have no medical training, I'm just a curious person who's realized that mainstream medicine may not be motivated to cure, only offer temporary symptom relief, so they have a customer for life.
Bit of pregablin is good for pd and and bit of nitrazepam for sleep with a gram a day would makes there lives more easier bless em I wouldn't like to be in there's shoes tbh
Pregablin side effects -dizziness ,drowsiness, swelling in hands and feets, trouble to concentrate etc Is it worth instead of CBD that have much less side effects?
@@crystalbelle2349 I'm not specialist. Maybe controled by doctor you can use them in small dosage, but again if you can try CBD first, maybe it's safer. Hope you will get better 🙏
@justinmariana12 I have two books that say we make 10 000 - 20 000 iu per day naturally in ideal conditions. In about 20 minutes of exposure. I've been taking between 5000 and 20 000 since last October. D3 has to be taken with K2 and vitamin A.
@justinmariana12 I re watched this video though. I also want to say magnesium supplementation is imperative. Check out the list of mag deficiency symptoms.
Why do they say driving under influence simple answer have a warning as they do on pharmaceutical when taking medication do not drive. Easy yeh don't be making stupid excuses 😴 🙄
