Money is thrown away in the garbage in the form of empty bottles and cans -- but some people in New York City are making a living by reclaiming the value.
I did that years ago, when I did not have a steady job back then and believe me I was not ashamed doing it I'll only be ashamed if I ever see myself with a pair of handcuffs behind my back. God bless them all for earning their living in such an honest way 🙏.
Please... this has gone on for years. Every neighborhood has an old Chinese woman or a Spanish couple that does this every day. They take up a spot on the sidewalk and sort cans all day.
I see the can collectors all over my neighborhood.. Some of them have carts with bags stacked up like 15 feet high in the air strapped together with cords.. It's quite an impressive sight to see..
Negative I save my water bottles I buy and take them in to be cashed every 3 months I average a lil under 600 dollars extra so imagine what you can make if you do this every single day , you can make alot of money the thing is its a nasty dirty job because most people are too proud to do it but if your not you can get paid .
These news reporters are really running out of stories to report. Since 80's African-American males were often seen struggling in this field of employment. I'm sure they were looked down and frowned upon for their commendable ambitions. Why haven't the news ever featured them for their dedicated hard works over yrs?
