I lived in Monterey Pacific Grove some 30 years ago and visited it 4 times afterwards and to visit again.. Your video put tears of joy for reliving the experience. I am happy you left the sound as is and without adding music. The experience is close to being real. Thank you.
A shame the railroad is gone which hosted the Starlight and terminated at the late 1800s Railroad Station in PG where there is now a mobile home park. The rail also extended to the Sand Plant in Pebble Beach. At Lovers Point (original name is Lovers of Jesus Point) the Municipal swimming pool is gone and the Bath House is now a restaurant. The glass bottom boats are gone. Feast of Lanterns, gone. The character, heart, soul and charm of Pacific Grove is long gone replaced with superficiality. I lived there for 40 plus years. My parents were in the restaurant business in Monterey, Cannery Row and Carmel. My kids were born in Carmel and raised in PG. I still have an "interest" there. I visit family for a few days several times a year but glad to leave. I mourn its demise.
