In general, death metal is not my thing but Cannibal Corpose's Evisceration Plague, Scourge of Iron, and A Couldron of Hate are on my daily playlists during work commute. Well played sir!
They don't tune a normal 6 string to G#, but a baritone 6 string, a 6 string guitar with bass B and without high E (Like standard B tuning). So they tune 3 semitones down.
@@emersonmendes72 If you tune that low on a normal 6 string guitar strings won't stay tuned correctly because the tension is too low. Even if you put very thick strings, it will sound shitty and the neck of the guitar will be damaged because it's an extremely low tuning. Instead, with a baritone guitar, the neck is longer, the tension of strings is more and you can downtune that low more easily. In fact baritone guitars are made for this kind of tuning. I hope I was helpful
Excellent guitar work brother 🤘 that's my favourite c cannibal corpse song!!! I'm mostly a thrash guitarist but I'm adding death metal into it as well, great work mate 🤘 well played Rock on brother 🤘 metal for life 🤘
The song is great but in my opinion there is a snag - drums sound too quiet and snare drum and cymbals in particular. This might have been done deliberatery to emphasize the guitars sound. I'm not sure...
Is it just my internet or are tabs never synchronized with the actual videos? Saw it a few times now, not just this one here. Can be a bit confusing if you play along with sound
