The grooviness of Cannibal Corpse riffs until this day even the latest album are very enjoyable to listen. the breakdown part of their songs will always force you to headbanging. legend.
This is fucking brutal bro... I can feel every line of that song... So much heavier than the original i feel... Love u bro... And u nailed that solo man... So clean... Appreciate your hard practice...
Absolutely brilliant writing on this....Webster is a madman! Pat's tunes are also incredible. My fav metal bands: CC and Opeth. Add Darkthrone too. Pretty much everything I need is right there. The compositions are top shelf.
Nothing technical was said. The axe fx has polyphonic pitch shifting. Meaning it shift the pitch of more than one note being played at a time. Thus dude keeps his PRS in standard tuning and uses the pitch shifter on the fractal unit, instead of tuning hus guutars up and down to match the song tuning. Thr axe fx pitch shifter is better than the digitech drop tune and morpheus drop tune pedals. That was my statement
@@mrhamburgler480 yeah, I use the Drop pedal when I wanna play this song, BUT it only goes down 7 semitones, so your guitar has to at least be in eb if you wanna get to Cannibal's tuning. (what is it like, gb standard?) its polyphonic as well but the tracking can get iffy when you go really, its most ideal that you use the lowest tuned guitar you have lying around, the thicker strings are easier to track. its much more affordable to if you don't wanna cut your arm off and sell both your kidneys to get a fractal. (even though I totally would if they accepted body parts as payment)
@@mrhamburgler480 Dont waste your time explaining shit to people that will never become more than m,ediocre at anything in their life, cause things are "way "to" technical"
@@KevinDanneman all credits to you. playing is flawless, and I'm always impress to see those 25' scale guitars tuned that low, sound that powerfull and intonate that well. can you please tell what size are the low strings please??
That's kind of you. So the strings I'm using here are actually Power Slinky .11 gauge. I've since moved to .10 gauge for all of my guitars. The secret lies with the Axe FX polyphonic pitch shift function. That's what allows me to keep all of my guitars with light gauge strings, but also achieve the low tunings without using so much tension on the guitar neck. Hope that helps! @@eddybouh2079
@@KevinDanneman oh ok, I never suspected this. that pitch shifter is good.. I guess there is no magic formula to make those bigass strings keep that clear of a pitch on a "normal" scale guitar!! thanks for your answers
Man this makes me want to see Cannibal Corpse bc of this song. But I only know this song and actually like it. If I ever do go see them I’d be terrified bc of the pit
