I love all your videos. I could watch your videos all day- love your delivery and personality. Totally loved the canning tips, mermalade making. For the mermalade taste I'm wondering, is the zest too strong when you eat it? I noticed you only shaved off the top of the clementine but left the rest of the skin. Would love to try it. On the same topic, I have a plum tree which gives fruit like crazy. Nothing wrong with that, but I would love to know if you have a canning recipe for plums or tips on how to preserve other than freezing them. Thk you in advance . And as always, Thank you so much for your videos.
Anna Campos, I make plum jam/preserves in the water bath canner. I think the recipe is in the Ball canning cookbook or maybe on the package of SureJell. I like to chop the skins and add them into the jam. If you don't want tinted hands, wear gloves when you work on the uncooked plums.
I think I will give this a try. Have watched Allen Smith for years and a couple of years ago toured his home and farm. That was quite an interesting 4 hours. Wonderful time and got lots of pictures.
That sounds quite fun! I am obsessed with home tours and garden/farm tours online. Would definitely love a tour of such amaxing person. How you get a tour?? 🤔🤔
ANNA CAMPOS Check Allen's website and there will be a link to his house and garden tours. They cost close to $99.00 now and that includes house and property tour and lunch. If Allen is home, we were told he might greet the guests at lunch or in the gift shop. Wait until you see where he had his copper bath tub installed! We watched on tv as he was building the house. If you are sensitive to HOT weather, keep that in mind when you pick a visit date. I couldn't finish the tour...heat induced massive headache. Be sure to take a camera as the flower gardens are awesome. The visit was great and we would like to go again. Long way from us though. His place is north of Little Rock , Arkansas and we are in Maryland. Go, have a great time.
🌷Good morning! I've been watching P Allen Smith for years now. I remember the most exciting episodes were learning all about fermentation. My proudest was making pickles. Everybody in my family received them as Christmas gifts that year.😁 I enjoy all of these wonderful videos! 🌷
Morning Allen thanks for another great video, Beautiful cake ,was looking for a cake recipe that could be any time of the year that wasn't cover w/ frosting this one is perfect. Thanks again be well🍷
Lots of good content packed into this video. I'm wondering why description says Allen invites Aunt Genny over, although Allen mentions her many times she wasn't in the video was she? Did I miss seeing her?
Posting a little early/late today? I like marmalade, but you can't just throw them in a food processor. You will end up with all that pith/white part. It's bitter and will mess with the flavor.
