Hello, all! Today I am trying my hand at canning potatoes! I am doing two types of canning, tested (with water), and
********REBEL********
(dry canning). I wanted to see which style I liked better for the taste and texture of the potatoes. Please do your own research and do what's right for your kitchen!! Dry canning is not "tested safe" by the government.
I leave the skins on, which is also REBEL canning. The government tells to to peel your potatoes before canning.
Follow along as I try this new experience. I'll tell you right now... both turned out DELICIOUS and I'll definitely be doing them again with home grown potatoes.
