A Maybelle Carter classic "Cannonball Blues" (or "He's Solid Gone") is covered by ETSU Bluegrass Pride Band with Leah Needham on lead vocal with Cara Oliphant and Josh Argo on harmony at the inaugural "Red, White, and Bluegrass Festival" in Abingdon, Virginia on September 11, 2010. The song is thought to have been one of those collected by A.P. Carter on his folk song collecting expeditions throughout the south in the early 20th century.
September 11 is a date that will remain in our minds and hearts. This annual celebration event will be held to honor the brave men and women of the United States Military and our domestic Emergency Services organizations.
