Great video. My grandparents lived in Frostburg so I spent a lot of time at the old depot as a kid watching trains. In fact, where you set up your camera is where I used to stand with my Dad to watch 734 thunder its way into Frostburg. It truly is the best vantage point with that S curve.
@@IvesGuy1118 I’m sure those are great memories. I’ve never seen any photos or videos of the S-Curve in Frostburg, neat to know somebody watched 734 from that spot it really is a great view.
In July, I rode the WMSR back to Frostburg after riding the same route from Frostburg to Cumberland on rail bikes, via Tracks and Yaks. Great experience!
The trains don’t operate as fast as they used to back in the 1990s track speed was 30 miles an hour course that was back when they had the vintage Alco diesel locomotives now they don’t operate as fast
