I honestly think princess tower is just superior. Cannon tower is huge against beatdown and stuff like that. But that’s not even big in the meta. Surely it’ll bring goblin giant to an end. Maybe that’s why supercell didn’t nerf gob giant
The thing is , how do you know what opponent is running? Whether princess or Cannoneer? You don't. And you'll have to make a balanced deck. You can't go in all swarm expecting a Cannoneer. Secondly , I think he will get buffed a bit as princess tower is easily superior currently.
Xbow might come back into meta with this, because beat down is kinda screwed and it’s xbow’s biggest problem. Even giant graveyard, with the princess tower it’s gonna be locked onto giant anyways and your archers are the main way to counter graveyard. Switch out skeles with goblins and now even arrows can’t do anything cause you can just gobby gobblers log. I generally find logbait, graveyard, or spam type decks good matchups for xbow because they just don’t have a good way to kill your xbow without spending a ton. Half their deck gets logged or fireballed away, while the other half locks onto knight while archers just take out everything. Not sure how pump bow would be, but still no matter how op the tower troop is, as long as it can’t target over the river it ain’t gonna do nothing against xbow
@@Milkshaco a splash that doesn't kill skeletons is as useless as no splash at all. you will put actual anti swarm unit either way. making splash that discriminately only kill skeletons but not goblins is not a good idea either, reminder to 2017 zap spell
There’s no good reason why a tournament level tower should have a whole 400 less health than a princess tower 😭😭I don’t think it will see ANY play if they don’t buff the health to match
Beat down was already not meta and not used very much and supercell made it worse? If goblin giant was a problem then nerf its damage or something, they need a re work of this tower troop, it is too bad agents anything but beat down… DONT UPGRADE TO THIS wait until the buff that is bound to happen soon :)
It’s not balanced it’s trash bro it got less hp than a regular tower and does not even do that well against golem or egiant for its tradeoffs like being bad against logbait and spell cycle and graveyard
I don't get it. What is gonna happen with the cannoneer? Is it going to be in the normal game, just a special game mode for fun? What's the purpose of it?
They’re adding tower troops so u can choose between princess tower or cannoneer tower( should be more tower troops coming in the future) though from the looks of it I’m wondering if the devs even tested it prior to this. It seems way worse than a princess tower. I don’t see why anyone would use it

I don't like the idea of different towers. I know it's new content and yeah but it made the game depend on the luck even more Even the leveling system is so shit supercell wants to milk whale players
Lol it sucks. Its intended to help against the big beefy troops you would already defend? Its illogical. The princess tower lets you ignore swarmies up to 3 elixir without much problems, and a lone minitank or tank you would defend with something else. Basically, it forces you to spend elixir on the cheap swarmies so that you wont have any elixir for when the main push comes. Lol
