I've been trying this, and failing, so thanks for the trick that if you manage to get behind those artifical chaos they won't attack you because 1 time I got to that part with a good amount of rings but lost the them by being attacked and got totally frustrated. I didn't think that there was any way to avoid being hit by those enemies and that you just had to be a really skilled player to avoid them from attacking you while destroying them from the front which has been completely impossible for me so-far. I just kept giving up on that mission and have been stuck with an E rank for the first mission. So thanks for the tips and tricks info, I hope that I can do better on any of these cannon's core missions the next time I try that.
As a kid I never managed to beat this stage cuz it’s stupidly hard and then 5 years later I revisit the game I finally managed to beat it! The hardest stage in the game NGL
Crazy timing, I just A-ranked the 100 ring mission earlier today. I took damage in Eggman's section with the two artificial Chaos, but I was able to make it up in Rouge's section with plenty of time. And cinnamon Pop-Tarts are undefeated.
I have been using the Magic hands for that Artifiical chaos for years because that jump killed me way too many times. Finally the Hands did SOMETHING! I also found out about the permanent times stop my accident, at first I thought i broke the game but when it happend a second time i thought it must be a feature.

Maybe I will attempt one. Idk, I've never speedran a game, but it could be fun. I probably wanna finish all the mods and a rank guides first though. If I ever reach a point where I have no other content ideas, then perhaps ill get into speedrunning, and I can make content around that
Also worth noting, rings can be *very* crucial if you didn't do so hot in the mech areas for the the point based missions Ended the level with 300 rings and had a score of 29,150, so 300 coming from the rings (and the ones I collected during the mech areas where I was getting smacked around, finished the hunters and Sonic without getting hit). The water slide at the end has a lot of rings you can pick up (just don't get stuck on the first drop on the slide like I did, but he'll eventually drown even if you do get stuck there) Also Cinnamon Roll Pop-Parts are superior
That time limit mission with Rouge, please. What was it? Security Hall? In my most recent (albeit yet incomplete) playthrough of the game, I actually got an A rank on that level unexpectedly, but I have no idea how to do Mission 2. I'll share this useless information about myself too (for anyone who cares) I never got Shadow's Mystic Melody or Shadow's Flame Ring as a child, and I never found the upgrade for the light speed attack. (I did get Sonic's Magic Hands and Knux's sunglasses and Rouge's Scouter.)
Im not really as knowledgeable about heros tbh. Im not against getting into it though, but I wanna finish this series first before jumping into a new one at least
I remember 10 year old kid me having a mini stroke trying to beat the knuckles level with no air necklace it’s possible but took me a lifetime 20+ lives I was stubborn 😂
@@EpicDuskk yeah I’m glad I kno the game better than back then 😂 and I can only imagine how difficult 😱 but anyways love the vids been watching them for bout 6 months now I always get a chuckle at you trying to beat stages with all the different characters and how you try to tackle the obstacles faced with each of there different skill set !
OK on this bs level during the Knuckles segment do the clip through walls to save time. It helped me in every mission but do the consistent glitch through wall glitch. He mentioned it but you go on the wall by climbing slightly to the left of the black paint streak on the wall in the clip and climb down into it.

Why do people even need CC A rank tips, just recently fulfilled my all time gaming dream of unlocking green hill in SA2 and CC was the easiest of all to all A rank.. got to sonics part in hard mode and died I was so mad I was about to throw my controller but then I realized your points don’t go away in CC between characters… so that makes it the easiest level in the game by far to A rank.
Though 100 ring wasn’t the easiest, still got it second try and was WAY easier than you would think. All the other ones are a breeze, if you’re reading this and don’t think you can do it, I promise you you DEFINITELY can. Unless you are absolute trash at the game you can definitely do it. And if you were that bad you wouldn’t even be considering trying it anyway.
